This seems almost suspicious. Certified 2018 S4 with only 8,400 miles for $42k. Carfax says no accidents or damage.

acura RDX PEX edition
on the entire benz line up or product line in general. Its very confusing and overlapped with models/trims/specs.
Budget ~$40k new or used.
Things I want:
- 360 camera would be REAL nice.
-heated cooled seats

Things she wants:
-"Girl sized" ergo for creature features. Easy to reach radio/nav.
-simple controls
-not bust steering wheel with 100k buttons.
-good design
-hid/xenon headlights
-sport looks.
She is afraid her family will "judge her" for spending money on a new car especially if it has one of the mentionedbadges. She is also torn on saving money on this paid for well maintained car and having a lil TREAT YO SELF
TL;DR
Chulpacatches a nice trade in 2017 SQ5. 24k miles. It isnt a steal. Its a trim higher than what we looked at BUT checks a LOT of boxes.
He in at $36k plus standardpack. so about $38k. MSRP was $62k. has a few good packages.
Im torn as the 2018 model gets thedigital cluster/dash with a soft update of front end lights to LED and a cleaner interior design.
I can easily upsell myself to a newer SQ5 and immediiately sought out others. I see these are selling very well and the used market is flush with them. In 1 more year the newer 2018/19 will be the same price. They lose about 50% value in 2 years.

FWIW that white SQ5 was traded in for a Q7 which still uses the supercharged 3.0 and he likes the power delivery of that better although it's less powerful and ultimately a slower vehicle. Also a major reason for the trade was that even though those red seats lookdubshow wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 10:38 amwhile you arethere is a lot of thought in all this. The 2018s will be $36k in 1.5 years.they supposedly were only comfortable for about an hour at a time.

If you could deal with the older MMI it might be worth it. Does that gen have AA or carplay?dubshow wrote:very interesting. well this one dont have that option. Previous gen is still a good looking SUV. I just think holding out for the better tech in 18+ would be worth it.

On the Q5 AA/ACP wasn't added until 2018 IIRC.

Yeah, having the B&O system on my desk ruined my drive home in the ZR2 and Corvette.... but it is not without compromises, I have to have the full infotainment harness on my desk along with a MOST ring and amps. It takes up the entire rear desk in my cube.CaleDeRoo wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 12:00 pmI want it in my car though.
