Basically that. Or an Elantra sport or GLI or whatever. Also a problem with the Mazda 3. I like the 3 a lot though.MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 1:32 pmalsomight as well get a GTI if I'm paying that much.

Yeah the outgoing Elantra sport is essentially a cheaper GLI, since it has a dual clutchJohnny_P wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 2:55 pmBasically that. Or an Elantra sport or GLI or whatever. Also a problem with the Mazda 3. I like the 3 a lot though.MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 1:32 pm

Should be. I did the autocross school here and you get way more driving time than at an event.max225 wrote:https://www.sfrscca.org/event/scca-star ... landing-2/
Race bois... do you think this would be fun?

Yea sort of what I was thinking, I have little interest in actual auto X. Did it a few times and didn't like it... 2 min of driving time for wasting 6 hrs of my life. FK that.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 7:21 pmShould be. I have done that one and know a number of the instructors. It's a legit autox school so I'mmax225 wrote:https://www.sfrscca.org/event/scca-star ... landing-2/

I love the fact that it is being advertised as "San Francisco" and it is 100 miles away from SF.[user not found] wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 7:18 pmI mean any kind of HPDE should be fun.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 6:29 pm https://www.sfrscca.org/event/scca-star ... landing-2/

If you've never done an AutoX - do it.
Then try out a Track Night in America event.

I was just hoping to learn something and get about 30 min to 1 hr of driving in to hopefully destroy my tires and use that as an excuse to pick up a set of 17s with summer tires becausetroyguitar wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 7:26 pmI have done that one and know a number of the instructors.
