Got an email from Turo last night that ours was cancelled due to a manufacturer recall on whatever car she had booked. Wild timing. I won’t be mad if we cancel the trip completely.

Yes its RELATIVELY ok. Plus Brandon has the Colorado River physique. All he needs is a Yeti full of bud heavy, a few packs of smokes, a couple more bitches, load up the 50 foot Fountain and hammer the throttles.

I don't get the CO river scene at all but YMMV.Detroit wrote: ↑Tue Jun 28, 2022 3:12 pmYes, but without throttles to hammerDesertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Jun 28, 2022 1:41 pm

I don't get Havasu, but I love Temple Bar/Lake Mead. When we were there a year ago Easter to pick up our boat, it was dead. The marina itself is a 30 minute twisty mountain drive from the nearest highway, there's zero civilization around it or even there. It's like a desert oasis playground with boats hammering throttles and SxS's tearing up the desert around, all with fantastic hiking and incredible scenery.

And now I’m off at Noon DoC authorized everybody to take two hours of admin leave this afternoon, and my boss just hit me up to thank me for helping another team out again and told me to take an extra hour pretty cool to actually be rewarded for stepping up and taking on extra work.

Sorry to hear that. At least it's the start of a long weekend?

My company gave us today off, which was to have a 4 day weekend. Spent the day doing a deep clean on the 4R, she looks then a bike ride along the water. Little wind, water is calm, now to go out on the boat. Today is a good day.

Yeah. Funeral tomorrow then the weekend can start.
That was probably the saddest wake I've ever been to. Poor girl was only 31, and a gifted artist.
Fuck depression.
Happy 4th of July, y’all! I’ve missed the forum bros, we are now on the way back from Thailand, currently at the Helsinki airport again, about a six hour layover this time so not really enough to leave, just chilling after all of the excitement.
Thailand was an amazing experience. Food was incredible, people were great, views were epic. I’m sad it’s over but also excited to get home. I will do a larger review/pictures when I’m back on my computer.
