ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHH!SAWCE wrote: ↑Mon May 03, 2021 7:41 am Firm offer for gov DoD job came through on Friday. Will be submitting pirate letter today. I feel a little bad, they put a May 10 start date.. I requested to start a week or pay period later so I could give my current gig adequate notice, but they said they couldn’t change it because my start date was already tied to a bunch of other stuff like getting my cards to access the base. Kinda shitty, but oh well.

Your current employer would not hesitate to shit in your mouth if they thought it was the best move for them.
Also, congrats on it becoming official!
The rear was definitely a bit lower than usual, so I took it pretty easy. Definitely a bit bouncier over bumps and I could feel it in the braking a bit, but NBD if you just take it slow.

I need to spread mulch, but it's so fucking cold I have zero desire to go outside.

There needs to be a support group thread for all you mulch cucks driving around your jeeps and 1/2 ton trucks dangerously overloaded.
There is an entire house cuck sub forum but I don't really venture into it.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Mon May 03, 2021 12:40 pmThere needs to be a support group thread for all you mulch cucks driving around your jeeps and 1/2 ton trucks dangerously overloaded.
Speaking of house cucking, I also used the 40V Ryobi electric mower for the first time this AM, it is 5/7.

We had 15 trees cut down and the dude mulched them on site. Offered us some, and dumped what's probably 60 yards in the driveway for $free.99

Oh, I know I'm living it... just not all that excited about it (e-lawnmower aside).

I didn’t submit an actual letter lol. Just went and verbally told my manager since my supervisor ended up being out today. He took it fine, just asked what my reason for wanting to leave was. Told him the benefits, PTO, and pension. Playing the long game. He understood. He’s a very stoic dude, so no idea if he was bothered by it at all, but he shook my hand and wished me well.

Sounds like it was handled professionally on both sides, as it should be.

@troyguitar @detroit @griff and the rest of our musicians...... Thought you might appreciate this
It was marketed in the 1950s and sold for about $255 at that time. The reason it is sideways is that the whole mechanism rotates so you can type notes upside down.
