Interesting. They sold 100 apparently and discontinued it... but it sounds like that was a misleading figure if they weren't actually available anywhere. Kind of like Max's Tacoma , sometimes is actually desired but you can't find one even if the allegedly exist.Huckleberry wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 12:59 pmIf they offered the thing with a , it would have been on my radar when I was looking.
The G70 with a stick was so damn rare, that the closest one to me at the time was like 300 miles away.

That’s the problem. Dealers do the ordering and hate when a vehicle sits so they shy away from ordering manuals. Too bad when someone actually wants one, they can’t find one. And worse in the case of Toyota because you can’t even order one.D Griff wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 1:09 pmInteresting. VW and Subaru dealers, at least around here, are the only places I've experienced to have :manuels: readily in stock for test drives. Even with the Mustang, the Ford dealer had to pull it out of the showroom when I looked at one since it was the only one they had in stick. And it isn't like it was a small dealer with two Mustangs. There had to have been 30 or so lined up on the lot.D Griff wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 1:09 pmInteresting. I know multiple people here who have purchased basic Jettas in , VW is good for that. Our Ford/Chevy places have available for Camaro/Mustang, Mazderp also seems to have them in 3s and Miatas.

I wish that these could be had at half the price, even with higher mileage they're rare and pricey. Great car with a nice power plant, IMO.coogles wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 12:11 pm Looks like you can juuuuust fit a GS-F under the $50k budget.

IS350 F-Sport would be nice if it had a better motor.
A non-kid scenario would have me look at the smaller IS-F, or M2 which is a really nice car and seems like a great blend between really good performance, looks and luxury.

Man GS-F, seems fairly pricy still... 5 model years old and well above 50% of what it was new. GS has notoriously high depreciation along with LS.coogles wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 12:11 pm Looks like you can juuuuust fit a GS-F under the $50k budget.

Pre facelift IS-Fs are still upper 20's at the bottom.... Crazymax225 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 4:27 pmMan GS-F, seems fairly pricy still... 5 model years old and well above 50% of what it was new. I don't find it to be an unattractive car, but it is moving way closer to minivan than hot hatch in appearance. I like that the outgoing gen really looks more rally-car than CUV.

The new STI is getting 315 HP, I read that they are 2021 models. If it is of interest I'd burn more miles up on the Fiesta for another year and check out all the new metal on the market.

True, I'd encourage him to go walk a lot, or walk one online and see. There's used CPO sedans, coupes, convertibles, quite a few to choose from.

I think Fled has pretty much painted a used Panamera as a money pit of epic proportion.

If you're dumb enough to take it to a dealer and send the entire service department on a vacation every 30k miles sure.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 3:11 pmI think Fled has pretty much painted a used Panamera as a money pit of epic proportion.

Having discussed the prospect of even a CPO Panamera with the fledster, this is accurate. I wouldn’t be going near them.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 3:11 pmI think Fled has pretty much painted a used Panamera as a money pit of epic proportion.
ANy AMG with a V8 is pretty damn badass if you don't care about
I never heard back from him on what level car constitutes "too flashy" for clients. Merc/BMW are not Porsche level, but still a bit particularly for blue collar people that I assume make up the CUmmins customer base.
