They must be chronically dehydrated when you combine that with all of the caffeine, alcohol, walking, and smoking - which explains why it's so hard to find a bathroom. Real French people never have to piss.

as someone whose partly European, I only have a bottle of water with me mostly when I'm at the gym and that's about it. When I drive for a roadtrip, it's either coffee and smoothie. And I don't take bathroom breaks that much when I'm outside. and I'm addicted to caffeine.

God damn.. Still getting shit from the GTI. Traded it in on 10/16/17. Got a notice from the DMV in like January that they recieved notice of it being insured, but me/my dad (he cosigned for me on it back in the day) hadn't paid registration.. So somehow their system didn't process the release of liability even though someone else had obviously bought, and therefore registered it at the same time, from the dealership I traded it in to. Because of this, I then started getting Toll Road violations sent. Thought I got it all cleared up by resubmitting my release of liability form, but now I got something from a collections agency for those bills being unpaid. So now I have to resubmit that paperwork. Fucking annoying. That was all supposed to be handled by the DMV/Dealership when I traded the car in.

2. This is why plates should stay with the individual owners and not the vehicles.

If I you just want to go camping, why leave Michigan? EPIC camping just north of you around Traverse city...my all time favorite in the state is Fisherman's Island State Park just outside of Charlevoix. There's also fantastic camping in the eastern upper penninsula. Tahquamenon falls state park (the lower one) has some outstanding camping too. Even closer to you is Luddington state park, we were there last month. A bit more crowded than the others I mentioned, but very nice we a ton of great hiking and biking opportunities. Though we haven't been there, supposedly great camping in the Alpina area as well.KYGTIGuy wrote: ↑Mon Oct 01, 2018 11:33 amNever had it. There's some nice camp grounds in Canada, but it's tough to beat what's in your own back yard TBH.

Oddly, I never had these issues in CA. Whenever I submitted the release of liability, it was done. One time I forgot to mail it in, and got a parking ticket from the new owner. Mailed in the release of reliability and never heard another thing about it.razr390 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 01, 2018 12:08 pm1. CaliforniaSAWCE wrote: ↑Mon Oct 01, 2018 11:41 am God damn.. HOWEVER
I do agree that the plate should stay with the individual. It's like that here in Meatchicken, and it's nice to not have to forfeit registration costs when you sell a vehicle. When you trade a vehicle, all you pay is the difference over the time between the transaction and renewal (which is your b-day here). Sucks that every b-day you get to pay a nice registration bill, but better than throwing that money away when you sell the car.

we started doing this as an option in LA. Either with the car or the owner, whatever you want.razr390 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 01, 2018 12:08 pm1. CaliforniaSAWCE wrote: ↑Mon Oct 01, 2018 11:41 am God damn.. Fisherman's island is on my possibilities list. Along with Wilderness State Park. Canada is just because I've never been so it checks 2 boxes. Looking at somewhere around Goulais River too.Detroit wrote: ↑Mon Oct 01, 2018 12:14 pmIf I you just want to go camping, why leave Michigan? Canada wilderness down here isn't much different from MI IMO. HOWEVER Toronto and Montreal are really cool cities that differ significantly from what we have here. Taking a train or plane from Windsor to Montreal is a great way to go to Canada IMO.KYGTIGuy wrote: ↑Mon Oct 01, 2018 1:39 pmFisherman's island is on my possibilities list. Don't transport firewood. Always buy it when you get to the camp ground. You can also burn whatever twigs/branches you find around the site that's already dead. There's usually people selling firewood by the road near the camp grounds for cheap. That's what we always do. Last time we were at Muskegon there was dude with a giant wood pile at the road and a wheel barrel. Sign said $5/barrel. $5 was enough wood for the entire weekend, and we cook breakfast and dinner over the fire.
For the vast majority of state parks, you need to reserve the camp site ahead of time online. There's a small per night fee. What's nice is that you don't have to be concerned about the campground being full and being SOL when you arrive. At this time of the year, you should be able to book any campground easily. Can book up to 6 mos out, so we usually plan way in advance for our summer trips at the more popular sites.

My toilet at home has two flush options for solids or liquids.. even with that I've been trying to make a conscious effort not to flush every time I piss, espeically in the middle of the night since I'm usually up 2-3 times pissing. Get in another 1 or 2 in the morning while I get ready for work and then flush all of it at once. Maybe gross, but it's just me there and I don't smell it at all, soBig Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Mon Oct 01, 2018 1:52 pm im going to go wastefully piss again. Use a whole gallon to flush too.

Two weeks ago when I went for posing practice my coach had a videographer/photographer there documenting it to use for some promo videos he's making for his PT business. Saw the first video that was put together on IG yesterday, pretty sick. Then he posted one of the shots of him and me today. Cool to see how far I've come for sure.
