That place was nuts. Middle of nowhere tiny village of Llo, room was 69 EUR including breakfast. Dinner a few doors down was made by one guy who runs his whole little restaurant alone. Wish we had time to spend another day there, but we are already in Carcassonne now.

Random observation of the week: French people don't seem to drink water, or much liquid at all. They must be chronically dehydrated when you combine that with all of the caffeine, alcohol, walking, and smoking - which explains why it's so hard to find a bathroom. Real French people never have to piss.

Ironic since the tap water, at least in Paris, is basically spring water and is very good.
They do seem to drink bottled mineral water
