If I ever change wheels on the Jeep I'll get a set that can do that. Forum bros seem to not have problems airing down as low as 15psi on stock wheels doe as long as they aren't doing anything too crazy. I don't think I'd go below 20, but I'm also not gonna be doing anything real wild in it for a long time.

I need to see if my uncle and cousin up in Utah are still big into offroading. They were the first people I knew who really modified their jeeps when I was younger.Apex wrote: ↑Thu Sep 20, 2018 2:06 pmGood to know we can airdown the Grand Cherokee that low now.SAWCE wrote: ↑Thu Sep 20, 2018 1:59 pm

Unless you're on sand, you really only air down for comfort.
On sand, 12-15psi max, otherwise you gettin stuck FAST.

Yea, not really necessary. If you're going to puncture a sidewall, it's going to happen regardless of air pressure. You run more risk of unseating the bead when you're running low tire pressure while crawling. On rocks, I rarely air down, and if I do it's to like 25 psi or something, again more for comfort than anything else.

But I'm because the internet says otherwise.

your has like 83 lockers in it. You can scale walls without airing down.Detroit wrote: ↑Thu Sep 20, 2018 3:18 pmYea, not really necessary. I'm getting a loaner, service manager was peering over SA's shoulder as she recorded my complaints and basically nodded with each one saying that my issues shouldn't be an issue to address. So, fingers crossed.
