I love Z32's but on a Turbo model which IMO is really the only one to get as the base V6 isn't really exciting. Kind of sad. They're not reliable at all.

I'd probably get a slow NA, really just want for the looks, it would be fun to around in. It seems like they may appreciate in value or worst case not lose much. I can get OK ones in my area for like $5k apparently. Still would likely end up being frustrating and a money pit.

IMO the turbo is the only one that'll appreciate worth a damn. It's also the one you don't want to own because upkeep is retarded.

To do what a Civic can do at 1/2 the price. IN all weather just maybe not offroad where MOST Jeeps DONT GO. But hey.....DA Mall !! Image is an amazing sales motivator. Im fascinated by all this but have no use to do normal living/driving using a Jeep. Its just not optimal at all unless you live in the Outback and have dirt roads to traverse or camp/hunt/fish like a big dog etc.

Cold weather group is $895 for heated steering wheel and seats and remote start, but requires the convenience group for $395 which is a garage door opener.
Hard top headliner is still an extra cost item

So a V6 Sport "S" unlimited which includes AC and power windows like a vehicle manufactured in 2018 should, with an automatic, hard top, floor mats, and headliner like every other vehicle on the planet has, is $38,640.

I fear prices are going to kill this vehicle. The options packages at least... they suck.

Yeah I spec'd a soft top with AC and power windows, plus a couple of basic options, and it's over $35k

I bet they have no problem selling them though. A 4Runner is just as much, no?

Heep pricing is exactly as expected btw.... you can see my earlier bitching about it already. The real question is to rubicunt or not since sahara aka mall spec is nearly as expensive and has far less "cred" for the future mall crawlers.

Actually yes lol. It's a bold move to continually make the new model more than the last by a growing percent. Helps out on the 7 year car loans... Just buy the new one! Keep your note the same.

My “added options” are $9800 looks like option pricing is identical on the Sahara and rubicon trims.

50,685 for a Rubi
48,840 for a Sahara
39,805 for a Sport S
Those are completely decked out models sans the $495 for the keyless entry
Led, trailer, alpine, hd+headliner, 8.4 jewconnect, auto, cold weather, leather.
I could save quite a bit by removing trailer, leather, cold weather.

Sport S is a pretty annoying trim level as it charges you $1295 for the alpine yet it doesn’t add the 8.4 Jew connect you’d pay $795 for an upgrade from the 5” to 7” screen. also no way to get the decent lights and it comes with the shitty brakes all that said and done the price is still 40k...

I could save $3,185 by omitting leather, trailer and cold weather. Hmm that’s about it the other options I want... I actually really want the keyless entry fking Jeep charging $495 for it though

Saying all that if you are pushing 40k+$ there are better day to day transpo options to consider and also you can have 1 transpo and continue to search for your reasonable cost 4-by-FO and enjoy life etc.

Yea new jl Sport S might as well get older jku. Then again you do get additional refinement and 8 speed auto and superior mpg etc.

Now in terms of the others I think a decked out Sahara or rubicon would make for a great daily. I don’t think I want two cars ...

Discount JKU + a brake kit sounds like the best option imo
