Building a condo between Rosarito Beach and Ensenada. Decided on Seahouz for build quality and lots of other reasons. It is in "SoRo"........South Rosarito. 4 hour drive from the Desert, 5 hour drive back. 3BR/3BA, one BR will be an office. This whole COVID thing has reinforced the fact that you really don't need to be at "The Office" for "regular business hours............especially when you're the boss. Been planning, choosing and saving for this for 5ish years. Getting closer. COVID has slowed progress, but its happening. We're on the 11th floor. 2 condos per floor.
Floorplan:
What the finished product will look like:
BBQ Island Concept:

Thanks Ron. And others. A fair amount of saving and planning went into this and we feel like we're really going to enjoy it/get a lot of use out of it. 3-4 hours and boom. 30 degrees off the thermometer in the summer and a cruise ship view.

Someone’s gotta watch it when vacant to prevent the cartels from squatting

Thanks! It was supposed to be done at the end of this month BUUUUUUUUUT, the Rona has some other plans and frankly I'd be pumped if it was done at the end of July. Which is still two months of smoking desert temps avoided.

Thanks man. Yes it's 90% completed. I was just down there to meet our interior designer/decorator again. She has the in on furniture building/import etc. and is helping us put together something that looks really good. Appliances in except for the fridge. Next week the outdoor BBQ area gets built. A September delivery date. We're pretty pumped. I get to buy fun man stuff like 4 flatscreen TVs and I think I'm gonna put the Summit Beer Froster in the BBQ center. https://www.summitappliance.com/catalog ... 3SSVHFROSTCorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Sat Aug 08, 2020 4:08 pm Super sweet... Going to use one of the BR's at an office, there is excellent surfing right in front of the condo, and it's just going to be great way to GTFO of the desert for significant periods of time, which I am ready for.
