:dat: all of the above... I don't know about them TUBEZZ breh... i mean this isn't a peterbuilt from 1985

Really like the OEM metal bumpers, they are the best looking ones IMO, minus that Brocessories brodazzling all over this one.
Image
Rockauto has that for about $1000, everywhere else it's priced around $1300.
I would do that if you can't find a take-off. People always upgrade their bumpers, I'm sure with patience one will pop up.

You'll have to pardon my lack of accessory knowledge, but what does the tubular bar attached to the top of the bumper supposed to do?
That's what the Female holds on to as you Ram her from the back after impressing her with your RIG at the local mall bro. OBVIOUSLY.

Look cool.

No, but really it's intended to push brush/branches out of the way. It's "frontal protection" which only kind of works in this case.
:lolgasm: Yeah, I don't see a lot of function there.

Also, sauce...notice the bumps on the front of the bumper below the headlights on the OEM and AEV bumpers...those are crush cans that help maintain airbag function.

Yeah I was just reading that on the AEV site. Their bumper looks nice for sure. I'll probably wind up with that or finding a take off Rubicon/Hard Rock bumper if I can.

I just don't want to be rolling around with my ghetto crushed bumper corner for too long. I wonder if I can just pull those off and have a DIY "stubby" bumper...

That's the old Mopar one...5/7 would go that route for the price.

Lose my fog lights, but I like when lights are mounted up on that bullbar, so I'd probably do that and use the OE fog light wiring for them.

:word: just text him. I'll try to stop by and see it tonight. If it's in good condition I'll see if he'll take $350 for it. Hoping he comes down, but I'll pay the full $400 if I have to.

Pay close attention to the paint. Looks like it MIGHT be a bit faded, you could use that as leverage as long as you're ok with the way it looks.

Yeah I'm actually planning on popping out the plastic one tonight and just running like that until I do replace it.

What would you guys do if the paint is poor quality? Just rattle can it as necessary?

Probably.. but man you have a brand new :jeep: it would suck to see it with a shitty rattle canned bumper.

Yeah that’s why I was thinking a nice powder coat finish. I mean, if I get it for $300-350. Another $150-200 for the powder coat still leaves me under the cost of most brand new bumpers..

I'd spring to have it powder coated. It would need to be sandblasted before that happens tho.

About to look at that bumper. Hoping the bad paint was just potato pics. Gonna offer $300 and hopefully settle at $350.

$350. Paint actullay looks fine. Small chip on one corner, so I’ll touch that up so it doesn’t rust.

Radiator and thermostat replaced on the GC. It’s back running as it should be now.

Front recovery points, tires, and skids coming in the future.
