Techies. I REALLY want to reduce my PC foot print. I have shit everywhere. I think I will be sharing a desk in a combined (home) office with the wife.

I have 2 pc towers (1 mac one windoes) with seperate monitors and key boards. The wife has an old (mac) laptop. Im on the fence of having the 2 towers setup separately or to have them use one monitor/mouse/keyboard and have a KVM switch box.

We have an antique big desk and 1 small modern desk. The 3d Printer and home office printer are both going into this room as well.

The mac desktop is getting long in tooth but still does a lot for evening usage. It also has all my important software like cad and adobe.

The winodes is mainly setup for streaming, 3d printing and rendering arch models. Id have to add some serious storage capacity as the Mac has like 4 640tb drives in it.

Switchbox for sure, or just run dual boot on the mac baw. Either OS should see extra drives if you keep them on compatible formating, and plex runs on mac & pc, soo.....

The PC windoes box is "newer" and has a better vid card. The mac is just a file server pretty much. Mac can dual boot as well but files access on drives is totally fucked. It doesnt work like you think and I have a dedicated drive for windows on mac box.

I ended up mistakenly buying the EU version of XBox live from CDKeys for $50 US.

I tried to get refund but CD keys were not playing ball,

I did some research, and thankfully there was a work around.

I simply had to download free version of a VPN software (I used Proton VPN) , then logged into the Ireland server and activated it on Microsoft.com instead of the console.

It actually is a way to save money as the South American and EU versions are cheaper than US.
