G8? Get the V6 with the 6 speed auto.
Or is that too old?
G8 is a big car.
G8/SS is way too big.
I also don't want an ancient auto that doesn't rev match downshifts - I already have that and it's annoying. The super short first few gears on the 8AT are really appealing to me as well.
The non-V ATS with the 8AT hits the top of 2nd gear at like 50 mph so it'll be super lively at real world speeds with "only" 330 hp. Lots of vroom vroom noises too.
Sure, it's fast once. But what about repeatability? That's where Tesla has failed in the past...and what Porsche has been touting as a win, as they should be.

My guess would be that Chris took some time off because he has read the dialogue on this page 1,345 times and decided to spend some of his free time doing something besides beating a horse to death.

What Porsche ? There is no electric Porsche on the market yet. The taycan has been 5+ years of teasing .... we shall see about real world once it hits

True, but Porsche made a big deal out of repeatability with all the press stuff. If they fail to deliver, it'll be

Yea we shall see, all electric cars have the same downsides. Driving it like a maniac kills the range/repeatability, as the cars regen quite a bit in normal driving extending what would be a shitty range.
Also the promised range is 240 miles vs 330 in the current tesla, which is a YUGE delta. I am really if you can track either vehicle for more than 15-20 min.
Also these are made for rich crotchfruit breeders who think they are saving the planet by driving in rare earth packed 5000lb testaments of excess that in themselves caused more pollution during the production process than a Ram 3500 belches out over 30 years.

Agreed on all points.

And only one person has actually owned one and that same person considered driving the car into a lake to get out of the lease early so yeah it’s an awesome car.
