Quite the opposite. It would’ve cost me another $25k+ to get my S3 to the same level as the A3 currently is.Big Brain Bradley wrote:i guess, just seems like pissing away money movegolfsedan16 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 23, 2018 12:32 pm
Yes, what is so hard to understand? A3/S3 are basically ~same except for a couple items that end up getting changed in any real build. Plus A3 is cheaper to insure LOL

Also you do not know what I paid for the A3 so how would you possibly be able to evaluate the financial impact of purchasing this car?

Correct. He is currently breaking in the new engine, running a conservative 700whp break-in tune LOLkashak wrote:I think the owner of that A3 is now cruising in a 900+whp TTRS. Not sure if his car has been built already

Well, the S3 was a lease that I got out of cleanly, and I recouped ~70% of the parts monies. I bought the A3 used (obviously) for a good deal.Big Brain Bradley wrote:I can add and understand that new vehicles depreciate?golfsedan16 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 23, 2018 3:14 pm Quite the opposite. Good luck managing this car but I don’t see the need/want for 700hp into a car.
If they offer you free parts/labor as a sponsorship then that’s 5/7 but I wouldn’t do it as my daily.

Then it makes even less sense to do with a 4-door economy car. Why not buy something that's actually fast to begin with?golfsedan16 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 23, 2018 4:14 pmIt’s not my daily.
