He might have spent more on vehicles in the past year or two than anyone here, depending on how you count things.

Oh he wasn't talking about the WRX, breh.
WRX has no engine sound with the stock exhaust.

STI will make your ears bleed at 1500 RPM and burbles like hell. Tons of turbo noise too. It's :lolol:

Abarth is even better than STI in that regard. Would like to test out an Abarth.
The WRX has a good amount of turbo spool, and it pushes you back in the seat hard at 3000 rpm but then the power falls off dramatically around 5000 rpm. Yep, the exhaust is way too quiet, it can only be heard with the radio off, and they sound super ricey with aftermarket exhaust systems.

I would have picked up an STI if I had found a good deal when I was shopping around, but the dealers were marking them up way too high and then I found my loaded WRX and really liked it during the test drive. The WRX is better for street driving with the twin scroll turbro spooling up super quickly, but I find myself regretting not waiting for the right deal on an STI, especially when it snows.

You should go test one, they're a blast and at $12,000 used, the dealers aren't exactly guarding them under lock and key.

I'll have to keep an eye on Princeton Mini. If they get an Abarth I'll meet Z for lunch and braps.

The Elise was the shittiest car I've ever driven. Fun when you're having fun in it. Garbage otherwise.
race cars make terrible street cars.

my cousin has a super mint 14k mile tennis ball green one with track options. Its lols but he drives it around in 3rd to stay at 4k rpm, where is starts to have power. Its hilarious to drive and miserable to ride in.

Pretty fun to drive hard. Kinda stupid to drive anything but hard. Horrible to be a passenger in. Worst car evar as passenger.

welcome back hombre.
The handling is really good, and the exhaust note is hilarious. And the price can't be beat. It's fun that you can go WOT everywhere without breaking the law, and the wailing exhaust note and pops makes you want to. I wish more engineers of performance cars put some effort into the exhaust system, becuase it adds a lot to a car.
This is why the grom is fun. BTW, i bought a grom. You still have yours?

And I don't think there's a production car with a better exhaust note.

oh hai! could've gotten an STI then. But on the bright side, you can trade that car in without placprofit.

There's nothing good about not having placprofit.
