Look man. Here's what we DO know. You're not working in the month of August, right? At the very least. All I want to hear from you during the next 30 days is how you are relaxing, exercising, crushing beers, smoking ganja, burning boat gas, and doing Italian porn shoots.
Kthxbra.

That's a given if it's just the two of us. She LOVES the boat. Bummer is we usually have others with us. We trade going out with some neighbor friends...we go out on their boat and they go out on ours. Shares captain responsibility that way.Irish wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 8:17 pmFTFY Never leave out the water fucking and boat head ....Detroit wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 6:36 pm

Dang man, that is some seriously low cal intake, I suck down 3K+/day on average and am skinny.
Sounds hard, food is good.
Work is busy today, hence not much DFDing. Trying to get caught up from vacay blows.

I yo-yo like a mfker... since the plandemic started I lost 25(2 months) gained 35 (3 months) ... then lost 20 (6 weeks) and gained 30 again (2 months)... overall the target is to lose 20. But it sucks to suck, I don't want to be a ass. It is mostly drinking for me. My body has become quite good at converting alcohol into fat. Now mind you I am not someone who LOOOOVEs a six pack or IPA every night.
The biggest problem for me with drinking (and/or weed to a degree as well) is less the calories ingested in the form of alcohol and more the fact that while I eat a bunch of shit, then I get a hangover for 24-48 hours where I'm inactive and also eat like shit. I pretty much just saving drinking for on vacation and then maybe one night a week otherwise and it works out OK. Fortunately years of lifting plus cycling 8 hours/week keeps my metabolism pretty good.max225 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 1:28 pmI yo-yo like a mfker... since the plandemic started I lost 25(2 months) gained 35 (3 months) ... then lost 20 (6 weeks) and gained 30 again (2 months)... overall the target is to lose 20. I am just not into having a beer or drink , if I'm going to bother it's going to be 5-10 drinks, so that needs to be pretty infrequent.

Yea since shit reopened we went out a bit and get drinks/food frequently. And it is likely a 2500-4000 calorie affair every time. Things really add up. It is a lot of fun and I really enjoy it. But my body likes to stache that shit away for a while.D Griff wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 1:40 pmThe biggest problem for me with drinking (and/or weed to a degree as well) is less the calories ingested in the form of alcohol and more the fact that while I eat a bunch of shit, then I get a hangover for 24-48 hours where I'm inactive and also eat like shit. I have been tracking my calories on and off for years and it is really shocking how those meals out stack up. If we get drinks it does usually wind up around the 3K mark...max225 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 1:42 pmYea since shit reopened we went out a bit and get drinks/food frequently. It's no wonder so many Americans are
Whenever that is on the agenda, I go for a 1K+ calorie burn ride or run and starve myself all day leading up to it, making it a wash.

0 rain. We expect no rain until mid october/early november... so 2 more months of this..
Honestly it has surprisingly been an "average" year so far, which is actually quite great. About 80-90 during the day and 55-60 at night.
But everything is DRY AF (we haven't had rain since April), and hot days above 105F can really make things quite unnerving, because it feels like you're on a powder keg. Mind you, NorCal/BayArea is NOT a fire zone.... but last year really changed things around for everyone.

Yea the temps aren't too bad to be honest. The big issue is the weird "Heat domes" or whatever that have started happening... Last year we got to 118... which is frankly insanity. This year we had a few days over 100 but nothing over 110... but the heat comes in August for us... it is the hottest/most dangerous month. So we're not over the hill yet.Apex wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 1:49 pmMany dangs about the lack of rain. The temps sound rather pleasant at least! My weight goes up and down like that too, but for me it is waaaaaaaaaay faster going on than coming off. I'll gain 10 lbs in 2 weeks at 2000-3000 calories/day and then take 2-4 months to lose it at 1200-1500 calories a day. My body wants me to be 200 lbs sitting home playing video games all day.

To be able to put on 10 lbs. in a week and then require a month of suffering to remove that shit is one of the great injustices of this worldtroyguitar wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 2:03 pmWow.max225 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 1:28 pm

A few notes on all of this.
1. I don't like my job enough to quit drinking entirely, but I have a physical on 8/18 so I have turned into a zero exceptions workout every day eating clean mf. I'm putting on a fair amount of muscle but I still need to drop about 8 lbs. by that date.
2. The VID has really turned me into a about going out to eat/drink. I mean, Troy has always been right......eating out is fattening and expensive. It seemed funner when I wasn't worried about being too close to some RonaBro, and now I look at all the 60+ year olds rawdogging it and thinking they are dumbfucks and now everyone wants to charge me 30% more for errthang. It ruins the fun. .
3. I am still going to the gym, early and with an N95. Lotta old people rawdogging it there too.
Much curmudgeon, wow.

Gained ~5lbs while in Mexico.. but 90% of that is just gonna be water weight. Back on my meal plan 100% this week, will be interesting to see how much my weight drops from the day after Mexico check-in I did.
Was 211.8 on 7/17, then 216.5 on 7/25.. expecting to be ~214 when I check in this Saturday.
If anyone is wanting help with losing weight, I do some online coaching. I generally charge people $100/month, but would offer the homey hookup for anyone on DFD. Workout/cardio plan, customized meal/supplement plan, weekly check-ins where I tweak your diet as needed to keep you moving toward your goals, and I’m available pretty much 24/7 via text for any questions you have (I sleep with my phone on silent, so if you text between 9pm and 4am PST I won’t see that shit until I wake up and I’ll generally have an answer to you by 430am when I’m doing my cardio).

Man, I wish I felt number 2. I really do enjoy going out but it is so damn expensive, it's annoying. Particularly when married/woman in the equation, they don't generally enjoy dives all that much. I'm just glad my wife isn't a "fine dining only" type person like many I know. It would be a great thing to cut out for many reasonsDesertbreh wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 2:21 pm A few notes on all of this.
