Met a new client today. He has a one year old Supra. We got to chatting as he is a car guy and he asked if I wanted to drive it. I was kinda surprised he had the automatic. He said he commutes to mint hill for work and didn’t want to row gears and he said the ZF auto was amazing in this car. So of course I drove it like I stole it. And I have to say, the automatic in that thing is really well suited for the car. The shifts were spot on and it kinda had me wanting one of these bitches. I just wished I liked the styling more.

Anyway, thought I would share I had this soon to be clients Supra up to 125 mph down independence. At which point he said maybe not this fast.

The manuals were very hard to get for a while.

Can't have his realtor getting arrested before the deal is complete.

I occasionally wonder about an autotragic m3… seems :wrong: but also not :wrong: confusing

I was honestly floored at how well it shifted, handled, and rode. It was amazing. They have the dampening figured out to a tee. Like it kinda fucked me up. I wouldn’t get an autotragic at the end of the day, but it sounded and drove fantastic.

He had an aftermarket steering wheel with plans for exhaust that I think would make that car sweet.

Haha. He told me not to hold back, but I don’t think he thought I would take him literally. He is a cool guy

I’ve driven the manual, it is really great. It doesn’t at all feel like the rubbery BMW manuals, much more like a traditional Japanese, notchy, mechanical thing. I loved it and would 100% get that.

The ZF is also very good though. It’s really a great car either way, I don’t know why so many YouTubers don’t like them.

Yea, :manuel: prob does not suck, i just think at that level of power/grip/sportiness a DCT/extremely good auto ala the zf8 is the better answer.
