If they run your credit, they'll probably assume it's an error.
When we bought the JL, they took forever to run my credit,

said they had to double check everything because they never saw a credit score that high.

The benefit of going to a dealer in the hood, they rolled out the red carpet.
This Mitsu place is in a part of Charlotte I don't think I've been more than once or twice in 26 years of living here
Kind of busy with work, haven't called yet.

Turns out the car is in Hickory, NC which is 75 minutes from here and a bit inconvenient. I made an appointment for Friyay morning and will probably just

I am kind of curious about the Evo. I think we had a few guys on the dead forum that LOOOVED them dipped their toes in a GTI... then immediately

'd out and got another Evo...
Major issue is MPGGG 15-18 at best

That is pretty comparable to a

in the city...

that much in this case, I'm not doing a lot of commuting/road tripping.
I am watching a few videos and things at the moment

Something like that sort of test would be ideal, but hopefully the short

experience will at least open my eyes to whether or not I have any interest. Visiting a Mitsu

with an 810 credit score will be

as well.

I've had a few instances where I've gone into a dealer because of a 0% promotion and get told, "Well, that's only if you qualify."
I always look the salesman stern in the face, lean in, and say, "I qualify."
And then I let out an audible fart without breaking eye contact just to assert my dominance.

I could steer my STI with the throttle. It would spin if you wanted it to. On throttle it would widen the arc, off throttle it would tuck and start to rotate. Rear end was lively when you were running at the limits of the tires. I imagine the Evo is better due to the active rear diff instead of a torsen and brake based torque vectoring.

144K miles on a ricer shitbox with a high strung motor known to be driven by vaper bros. $22K.

My experience is EVOs are worse with plowing when putting power down.
But your description is dead on. Let off the throttle and it rotates, get on it and it tends to plow. Was a bit hard for me to get the hang of after being used to RWD where more throttle means more rotation. But the overall experience is still 5/7.

0% chance I'd buy a $24k Evo with that many miles over a new STi. You can still get a base for maybe $2k under MSRP, so $36.5k or so. If you're dead set on an Evo I'd think it's definitely worth spending the $30k-$33k to get a really nice low mileage one.

I'd go new STI all day long, personally.
I've driven an STI, and I find them to be pretty fun. Different way of driving for sure, but no less fun - and very raw and old school in terms of power delivery.

What is funny is that there are also lots of 50-60K mile non shit examples at a similar price point. I have zero interest in actually buying any of the cars linked. I just want to drive one and see what it's about.
I suspect I may just be like

Me too. Given the funds I'd pull the real

move of buying the same car twice - I very much want another one.

That is a huge waste on a C5 IMO. Particularly one that gets tracked regularly. I could just go buy an immaculate one in a better color. If I do anything stupid Corvette wise, I would upgrade to a C6 GS or Z06 I think.

I miss mine. Was a good car. Not sure if I would dump a vette for one if the priority is track driving. Would like to try an Evo but used is tough on both them and STIs, high chance it was beaten hard. Then again it’s built to take that abuse so I dunno.

Outside of a ZR1, the holy grail of C6dom is a quality Atomic Orange Z06, IMHO.
