I don’t really think so? Fortunately we don’t manufacture the products I sell in China so now that the storm has calmed it’s ok at work.

I don’t really purchase products often though, aside from food and drink.

I get it, we normally make a long weekend of things too. Fun friend time, exploring a new place, may as well if you’re making the trip.

I have not had to get pricing on any industrial items since the tariffs took effect, so not from that angle. I probably will in the near future and will report back.

Personally on the consumer side, no I have not.

Industrial items have seen a halt in production until it's all sorted out so yes in that regard.
The day to day items not so much, other than a few items here and there.
Overall not much of an impact so far. TBD.

I surprisingly have not until two days ago and then full on sticker shock and :disgust:
I mean it's quite focused on shit that is directly from CHYNA and I frankly don't buy THAT much from there... maybe $100 a month average. Unless it's a big ticket item like a TV/Bike etc which I have not yet done this year.

We have seen EU markets hold off on selling products to the U.S. mostly. China seems to be doing business as usual for the most part.

Yes, I remember it was near the convention center. We were that close, although i was in Delaware that weekend.
I just booked 4 nights at The Westin in Wilmington for my friend's wedding. Was still $200/night with their block discount. Wack
We do the exact same ballpark price for room blocks in DC, atleast for regular rooms, about almost 300 for suites. Presidential suite was for the bride and the groom of our recent wedding blocks. Half of them drove from St Louis

Also our friends had a wedding last september in Winchester VA, near the WV border pretty much middle of nowhere off of 81, iirc their rate wasn't far off for hotel room blocks with multiple hotels in the area. I used my marriott points instead

Wow, that is crazy cheap for DC. Usually when I'm in DC proper, the cheapest rooms are like four fiddy/night.

So what did you dislike about it so much? Just all the work of maintaining?

My mom has a camper... bought for like $3K from a friend. They got some good use out of it. It's now 'illegally' (per HOA) parked at her house due to many circumstances, mainly around my grandma and dad dying.

My uncle told her she should keep a car parked in front of it instead of in the garage because someone could 'just back right in and take it' to which I told her would be a pretty big favor to her :lolol: She seemed not amused :doe:

When someone says "camper" I think of the unit that slides into a pickup bed. I assume this is some kind of trailer? I am somewhat intrigued by some high end Sprinter Van conversions I have seen, but then I think how much money they really cost, and how many hotel rooms that represents.

Dublin bound. Like Brad, I’m trying to convince myself to have a positive outlook. Took off from PDX at 10am PST, we’ll get to Newark around 6pm EST, and leave from there around 7:30 to arrive in Dublin around 7am local time Friday morning. I leave Monday morning to come home while Michelle and Kaeilani continue on to London through next Friday.

Maintenance hasnt been bad I guess, but its another thing to take care of for sure. Ive had to fix the battery disconnect, various trim, leaks, etc. Upgraded some things too, made storage easier access, better locks, extra bad padding.

It mostly just a fuckton of work to go. packing, hitching up, securing, leveling, setting up...then break it all down and pack up a few days later...get home and do the reverse again, sometimes to let all the shit dry out if it rained. With the dogs its even more difficult. If we do non- dog activities we have to haul in the kennels, set them up, then break them down.... everywhere you look is just extra work on your 'vacation'

Camping - its basically hanging out with extra steps.

The shitter is finicky. If its not sloped just right the slideout leaks like a mother in the rain when open. Its loud. It shakes. The shower is tiny af. 0.0% chance of :dock: on camping trips.

Ours is a trailer, 17' living about 20' over all with one slide out.
