I love you.

I don’t really think so? Fortunately we don’t manufacture the products I sell in China so now that the storm has calmed it’s ok at work.max225 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 15, 2025 10:32 pm Have you guys seen tariff impact ? of course because backwards looking fake gov data doesn’t reflect anything from may
I get it, we normally make a long weekend of things too. Fun friend time, exploring a new place, may as well if you’re making the trip.
Well we moved factories to Vietnam to get hit by 20% during the deal last weekD Griff wrote: ↑Wed Jul 16, 2025 9:49 amI don’t really think so? I don’t really purchase products often though, aside from food and drink.
I have not had to get pricing on any industrial items since the tariffs took effect, so not from that angle. I probably will in the near future and will report back.max225 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 15, 2025 10:32 pm Have you guys seen tariff impact ? Industrial items have seen a halt in production until it's all sorted out so yes in that regard.max225 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 15, 2025 10:32 pm Have you guys seen tariff impact ? Personally on the consumer side, no I have not.
We have seen EU markets hold off on selling products to the U.S. mostly. China seems to be doing business as usual for the most part.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 16, 2025 11:31 amI surprisingly have not until two days ago and then full on sticker shock andgolftdibrad1 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 16, 2025 10:04 am

I mean it's quite focused on shit that is directly from CHYNA and I frankly don't buy THAT much from there... maybe $100 a month average. Unless it's a big ticket item like a TV/Bike etc which I have not yet done this year.
My Bitcoin is doing well. Ride the waves that I can, I suppose.coogles wrote: ↑Wed Jul 16, 2025 11:27 amEat the tariffs!!!max225 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 15, 2025 10:32 pm Have you guys seen tariff impact ? We do the exact same ballpark price for room blocks in DC, atleast for regular rooms, about almost 300 for suites. Presidential suite was for the bride and the groom of our recent wedding blocks. Half of them drove from St LouisCaleDeRoo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 15, 2025 7:22 pmI just booked 4 nights at The Westin in Wilmington for my friend's wedding. Was still $200/night with their block discount. Yes, I remember it was near the convention center. We were that close, although i was in Delaware that weekend.
Wow, that is crazy cheap for DC. Usually when I'm in DC proper, the cheapest rooms are like four fiddy/night.MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Thu Jul 17, 2025 12:44 amWe do the exact same ballpark price for room blocks in DC, atleast for regular rooms, about almost 300 for suites. Also our friends had a wedding last september in Winchester VA, near the WV border pretty much middle of nowhere off of 81, iirc their rate wasn't far off for hotel room blocks with multiple hotels in the area. I used my marriott points instead![]()
