This is basically my car. Even in Ohio, but up by Cleveland. He got tint, PPF, and a working steering rack, but otherwise it's pretty much identical. He didn't put a reserve, only came up to $27k, so he deleted his account it looks like.
The days of flipping almost new cars for MSRP are long, long gone.

The question is will used prices go up when new cars are 20% more in 60 days?MrH42 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 9:30 am https://carsandbids.com/auctions/9Ano8b ... ref=pr_1_2

Probably not, I think everyone is just puckering their

Maybe I’ll get an updated ‘Vana offer on the 86…
Yeah

I need my car for work like once every month or two, but I get paid mileage when I do so could just rent in most cases.
My car is so dirty and I feel like I’m just not really taking care of it which is a bummer but I don’t have time for it.

At the end of the day the people will determine the car prices not the corporations, they can ask all they want. I doubt people can afford an extra 20%-25%.D Griff wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 11:21 amThe question is will used prices go up when new cars are 20% more in 60 days?MrH42 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 9:30 am https://carsandbids.com/auctions/9Ano8b ... ref=pr_1_2

However there seems to be a near term panic to buy a bunch of shit... but frankly it's pulling sales in from future qtrs... so IMO the corporations will face MAJOR issues come july... and september... end of the qtrs they would have sold through their "non tariff" cars and be faced with a double whammy of lack of demand (pulled in sales) and increased costs... so Shit will look BAD

I have had exactly one too many toilet paper hoarding periods in my life. Now I'm supposed to go buy an Iphone despite mine working fine? Nah. Interestingly enough our 15 yoa dryer shit the bed a week ago and I went out and bought a new matching set days before tariffmania started. About the only time I've ever timed any kind of market.max225 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 1:33 pmAt the end of the day the people will determine the car prices not the corporations, they can ask all they want. This is 100% right IMO. But it will just wreck things more if people can't pay the needed higher prices. The companies will be in a world of hurt from poopoo margins AND lack of sales/demand.max225 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 1:33 pmAt the end of the day the people will determine the car prices not the corporations, they can ask all they want.
