My grandmother was bulgarian which is why my dad and i are eligible. Greek sadly no  (maybe i should ask), my grandmother knows greek very well. I haven't even been to Bulgaria since probably before I moved to the US.
Interesting. Is Bulgaria :nice: ? I've never been, but I've been sort of Sofia-curious for a while.
Greece > Turkey > Bulgaria (depending on location).

Sofia was a nice town with towns along the way as we drove from Istanbul. It does give off soviet ghetto like vibes. Even the shitty parts of Athens would walk all over Bulgaria other than the downtown Sofia. Best I can say, its just a european city, thats about it. But I also didn't appreciate travel as much so theres also that. They have nice beach towns as my friends has been there and sofia was a chill town overall, but it does not provide the wowness to say Prague and the like, maybe little better than Belgium towns outside of Brussels.

Also it might as well be the bmw museum temu version as well

Thanks for the good feedback. WOW at the bolded, lol. Not many places can match the wow factor of Prague, that's for sure. Gotta disagree a bit on your implied meh-ness of Belgian towns other than Brussels. We really enjoyed Brugge, Ghent and Antwerp, at least the old town portions of them. Or did I misunderstand your meaning here?

Y'all have any low carb protein powder?
I see the meal replacement, and even so that's how I use it, I'd like low to no carbs.

A couple of cool options for you:

Clear whey, with zero carbs. Mixes very thin and drinks like a Gatorade/sports drink rather than a thicker traditional protein shake. Very tasty up front, but a bit of an odd aftertaste and mouthfeel.. Very expensive though at ~$36/lb before my discount is added.

https://www.animalpak.com/products/animal-clear-whey

Cold brew protein. Protein powder with a little kick from real coffee beans added in. Low carbs at 3g per serving. Tastes great. No weird aftertaste IMO. Still expensive, but more reasonably priced at ~$27/lb before my discount.

https://www.animalpak.com/products/anim ... ee-protein

Iso whey blend. Traditional whey isolate/concentrate blend leaning more isolate than concentrate. 4g carbs per serving. Every flavor is good, lots of variety depending on your taste preferences. Much better pricing at ~$19/lb for a 2lb tub and ~$15/lb for a 4lb tub before my discount. This is my daily driver. I alternate between chocolate and vanilla myself.

https://www.animalpak.com/products/anim ... supplement

100% whey concentrate. Cheapest option, some people have digestive issues from the lactose found in whey concentrate, so something to be mindful of if you deal with any lactose issues. If not, let er rip and save some cash. ~$14/lb for a 4lb tub (I’d spring for the iso linked above and spend the extra $1/lb and save the potential digestion issues and ensuing protein farts).

https://www.animalpak.com/products/anim ... ey-protein

You can game the system by signing for a subscription of any of these, which knocks 10% off the price. My discount code knocks 20% off of that new price for a decent total savings. After your order ships, cancel your subscription at no penalty. You’ll also get a reminder email before the next shipment if you forget to cancel and you can cancel then instead. Then when you run out, if you liked it, you can do the subscription hack again lol.

Ive only been to Brussels back in 2018 as a night layover to Turkey and thats about as belgium i have experienced. Id prefer to go back when its not summer though and try other towns, its warm enough to be sweaty at the time (early july) though i did overheard the tour guide this has been the hottest than it normally would be. Out of all the quietness and serenity on a Sunday stroll, a turkish dad honked his horn to a cyclist in his vw sharan with 4 kids :disgust:

One of my friends older sister lives in Mons and she find it meh. I wanna go to tomorrowland there next summer (not this) as a big bucket list, would be a good opportunity to spend a week there.

You can get a pretty cheap rail pass good for all of Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxemburg) and the countries are so small that several 5/7 cities and towns are only a couple hour train ride away. :notbad:

Thats whats so great about Europe, unlike in the US. Though rumors says we will have a high speed rain line from Boston through NY, Philly to Dc, which also connects to airports. Which may cause a train trip from dc to nyc in one hour

It takes about a day of sitting outside at work here this time of year. Then the dew at night and the next morning your car looks like it was hosed down with yellow Gatorade.

Honda Passport funds.
I do need my Real Id and a passport too. You know...
*motions vaguely around at everything*
We’re trying to do the little one’s passport now so we can make a UK trip this summer, but it’s hard to get appointments right now with people rushing to get them. One of the nearby post offices does walk-in’s on Tuesdays, so I’ll probably take a sick day next Tuesday and we’ll try to do that.
We just did this for Adelaide, we were able to get an appointment at the post office in Allison’s home town (BFE) and made a day of it. The passport photo experience with a baby was :lolgasm:

Hopefully it works out for you guys!

My cars are filthy :disgust: Pollen in full force.

I did manage to replace the LCD screen in the Beep Beep with some $80 Chinesium unit. They don’t sell it OEM, just the whole radio for like $1k. Pretty easy job and the :dillerman: would charge 20X what I spent and did in less time than it would take to drive to/from the dealer a couple of times.

We’re heading to a smaller town like 10 minutes from us to knock it out in hopes that they’ll be easier to do the walk in. Will report back.

Got the crib moved late last week. Going about as expected. We’re able to put her down for naps in it during the day, but I think she’s officially dropped from 3 to 2 naps. At night we’re able to set her down in it at her bedtime of ~7:30 and she’s been staying in there until 10:30-11:00ish when she wakes up wanting to nurse. :notbad: nice to have our bedroom to ourselves for at least the first hour or so of going to bed.

I'm fighting a losing battle with the pollen on the SQ5 as well. Touchless washed it yesterday and it looked great until I got it in the sun and saw it still covered in pollen AND water spots :rage:

At least the 12hrs of Sebring camping dirt/dust is gone. I'll be making a post on that soon in my car thread, it's :notbad: as a car camping vehicle. Was neat to set up a little home base for race weekend with a couple friends.

:notbad: I kind of just don't bother for March/April, I just moved my car out of the carport because it rained this morning, free rinsearoo. Maybe I'll wash it this week if the baby feels like taking a good nap. Paternity leave ends and I go back to work Monday and it will be a doozie:

NYC suburbs on Tuesday/Wednesday for an expo event with one of our distributors.

Vegas Friday through the following Tuesday for a trade show.

Boston the next day through that Friday for one of my larger customer's summit.

:disgust: I wish I could just be a stay-at-home-dad, this life is honestly dope. :ohwell: I do look forward to certain aspects of work and I guess this would eventually get boring.
