Yeah I mean I'd pay a dollar an egg and have some good, natural eggs that aren't sus and terrible, but I don't really have the time, space, or location to mess with that.

I just don't really care about the price of eggs. It's like the people who freak over a fluctuation in gas prices. I mean if all food went up by 50% it would be a meaningful hit, but if I spend an extra $20/month? I'm lucky enough that that has zero impact on my life.

It’s the price of everything lately. Eggs are just the latest example. Egg goes into a ton of shit downstream as well. So baked good, tons of breakfast places etc etc are all going to be impacted

It’s like saying you don’t care about price of oil. First it hits you at the pump and you think it’s an extra $20 a month. And then you realize everything else crept up 20% to offset it …. And you’re paying $1000s a month extra

Fair, all true. I just sometimes find it amusing the hills people die on.

:iono: I still am way better off than I was growing up, I guess I just have :alpo: luck.

We shall see if Czar Whorangeeto can fix it all as promised :lolgasm:

We all got aboard the fuck future generations, being rich now is what matters train whether we wanted to or not. Now time to see if it takes us to the rich station or we crash off a bridge.

I should probably cut back on eggs given the cost.. been on 5 a day. For sure my most expensive meal every day. 5 eggs plus 4oz of steak.

My steak was on sale at Costco this week doe :waxer:

What are your thoughts on how much protein your body can use from one meal? I thought about 40g was the most that can be processed but maybe that’s :bs:

They’ve debunked that with a few studies recently.. maybe even a meta analysis of several studies. IIRC they tested up to 100g of protein in a single feeding and all of it was still taken up by the body. I don’t believe that there is a limit, but even if it is 100g at a time, that’s a lot of fucking protein to consume unless you’re just slamming four scoops of a shake.

I do 65g/meal. No bloating or anything.

I think spreading your protein as evenly through the day is going to be “optimal”, but in a busy day if you can’t get it in at each meal for some reason, slamming as much as you can at once still gets you all that :massles: goodness.

We need to find out how man grams is needed to stop you up in one meal.

Then how many grams of fiber it takes to blow you out.

How many dead bodies did you have to crawl over to get to the cooler section of the store?

I mean, this is what I see depictions of Chicago look like on the news:

Just like all things in metabolic health, I'm sure it falls on a distribution curve and is somewhat individual. Also probably falls off with age. It'd be nice if we funded some solid science behind this, perhaps through one of the agencies set up to do such things like NIH. Do that thing instead of playing god with viruses making every living person on the planet sick, introducing a new endemic virus we have to deal with, and killing millions. :iono:

I can tell you that back in the day when BK dropped their Stackers, that one time I ate four quad stackers and that did a pretty good fucking job of stopping me up :lolol:
