FWIW there are 166 type Rs and 66 raptors within 500 Miles. I did spot a used raptor with 1200 miles closeish to my work. So next week I could probably check it out.
if it doesn’t sell at 5k over new msrp like they are asking
FWIW I bought my CT4 from a dealership over 1,000 miles away. They handled the shipping arrangements. I'm sure you can find one nationally and find a dealer willing to have it shipped.
Now, if you want to test drive it, which is reasonable, you're probably SOL without ordering one.
Yea I’m not a stranger to USA wide shopping. My mini was 2500 miles away before I got it shipped.
In this case I figured I can order a god damn ford pickup and pay sticker or x plan if they took it. Seems like that’s not really an option.
I don’t mind waiting but I’m also cross shopping other vehicles so … the civic could become available and I would be stuck in a situation without being able to make a full informed decision

I'm trying to find the pink G-13 or whatever and i'm having a problem. Fucking Napa, O'Reilly, Advanced Auto all have "universal" shit for "all Euro" cars but I'm very
I never bought coolant say at a european tuning shop and the like, but when i had that issue in the past, i first tried the popular chains, then they told me a store called olympia (dont remember exactly what it was called), used it and had no issues. It wouldn't hurt to try places where they tune vw/audis and whatnot and probably may have liquimoly, don't know if they have g13 in particular under that.
I picked up a gallon at my diller.
We'll see how long it takes until it needs more...

I don't understand anything anymore.
Man, VW unicorn jizz is expensive. I feel like the BMW coolant I bought was only like $18. Normally with a leak sitch like that I’ve just thrown in water for the time being but that’s definitely not the move when it’s -9F or whatever.

feed it distilled water, esp if you think a repair is in the future. you need to blend the pure stuff anyway.

is the problem. Eh, $38 isn't that much dough for peace of mind (about $12 more than generic piss from AutoZone) that I got the right stuff

It's more than the $24 for the sketch shit the parts stores have but at least i know it's the right shit.
Late to this but get the stuff from VW. I wouldn’t go mixing coolant types. But if you’re in a bind a gallon of distilled water is safe. I did that frequently with the GTI.
Don’t they realize it’s 2025? Mark up for a Found On Road Dead pickup is insane.
Well this isn’t exactly a fleet spec white F150 XL. Unfortunately Max wants a unique fun car. Those generally have a bunch of hype around them, especially ones that are “affordable.”

Discussing $26 vs. $38 coolant, it's like we're back on Mk6.com

I would do the same. The inflation just really hits when you see something you haven't bought since pre-pandemic or close to it.
I should probably change the coolant on the Did all the other fluids and that slipped my mind.

I mean, I get it, but still it's the most common vehicle type by the second shittiest manufacturer. I would figure if markups on Hype Rs are done, so would these. Clearly showing my bias though, as there's just nothing about a Raptor that gives me the wants.

I didn’t even know this was a thing but here we are

I mean, I think I'm on this, but I am who I am. The Ranger is def cooler though. F150s are just so unreasonably big to the point of being annoying AF to use in a city and just outright kind of antisocial.
In other news, the battery in my key fob was dead this morning. It lasted 4 years so I can't complain. I've got some 5025's at home so I'll swap it out this evening. Probably do my spare fob as well.
