My ideal R129 is the '95/6 I think. DOHC engine plus 5AT only happened for one or two years with the pre facelift interior.

It has been forever since Ive seen one in this example.
Every Type-s i've seen by far seemed to be clapped out and has tasteless mods from a dollar store.
Looking through comments … looks like the transmission was rebuilt, the car was tracked, and it seems to have valvetrain damage … some shit going on with that car … stay away

Yes it's a cool car. But prepare the lube/sawdust.
I might add … I really disliked that V6 + I had a v6 accord for a week with that same combo and it was just uninspiring and boring to drive. It also had a shit ton of torque steer, and launching that car creates so much wheel hop that the dash felt like it was going to drop the fuck out of the car.
2/7 experience

My ex had a TL like this (not S and auto) and it was a pretty nice driving/handling car, smooth engine with decent power.

Diff experience with the auto. That engine is on fact smooth and torquey for a sedan.

Had I lost all the weight before I bought the Camaro, I would have gotten a GR86.
The main deciding factor was my physical size and comfort.
The interior space in the Camaro is superior to an 86? I don’t but in my recollection the 86 was quite spacious for what it is

(When I was 360 lbs) I fit in a Camaro, I did not in a GR86.
Actual CuFT of interior space? I wouldn't be surprised if they were close. The Camaro is small inside for how large of a car it is.

The seats are very tight. I'm just under 6' and 165-170. It felt like I was pushing it, even though I know larger people own them without issue.
dang ... tight at 165? I really gotta turo this bitch
