So in the IRONY of IRONIES... the most ANTI SOCIALISM thing to do in california is NOT BUYING A TESLA. Because you're funding your own doom and joining the masses. The irony lies in the fact that everyone thinks that buying a tesla is buying into Capitalistic consumerism... yet it is something completely different.

I literally thought about saying “I don’t work at tesla”under that pic, but refrained. Shit is just normalized like that here… target parking lots are the worst. Good thing I don’t shop there and only go out of sheer necessity once a yearDesertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 12:20 pmIt's like a Ford factory worker lot full of Fords. Well.
I freely admit that they are making much more interesting cars recently vs the past couple of decades, so legit props to them for that. The more cool cars in the world the better. But I still don't think I'd actually spend money to own any of their current offerings. What I do hate is (some) typical Toyota drivers.

To be fair
I4 purchase dealer 1
IX purchase dealer 2
IX service/lemon was dealer 3

Naw breh. Ron hates dented 10 year old Camrys and their owners who will drive them for another 10 years without maintaining them because they can. Ron is also a VW Euroboy enthusiast type who disdains cars as transport only EXCEPT for his wife. She's okay. Even though she's Toyota mentality from day one.

There is no planet on which her slanty H is somehow a driver's car compared to a Camry (of the most recent vintage)wap wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 9:02 pmDesertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 5:56 pm

I do take exception with the wife comment,In the spirit of showing her everything that was available when we were car shopping for her before buying her H , I showed her a new Camry and she - with zero prompting from me - was 5/7

Dammit Dirk, I have said, repeatedly, that the H is boring to drive and it's a goodDesertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 9:12 pmThere is no planet on which her slanty H is somehow a driver's car compared to a Camry (of the most recent vintage)

They seem like decent cars but with just a much higher likelyhood of something catastrophic. It’s still probably low… but no where near as low as a honderp or yoda.
Btw Honda is recalling their 30 year old 3.5 liter v6 in most of their new cars as it spins bearings … due to a shitty crankshaft.

I feel like both are just par for the course

I also bought the same BMW twice.
