Here our best option for a fried chicken is now Publix, the grocery store, for about $9. Walmart used to have a decent spicy option for $6 but they disappeared during covid and AFAIK never came back.
Broasted I'd imagine is roasted and under the broiler, like a high end rotisserie. Publix has mardi gras chicken which is pretty dang solid, and the chicken tender sub is the state food of Florida.
Any kind of half-decent sandwich is well over $10 here these days plus I don't need breaded stuff in between more bread. 8 pieces of chicken for $9 is the best value left in town in prepared foods.

They run $5 specials here on Friday. It may beat the little Caesar calories/dollar ratio

$5 for what?
I've mostly given up and accepted that I'll feel poor forever with the crazy pricing on everything. The big thing I'm dreading now is the next home insurance renewal in 2 months. Probably will be another $100+/mo for nothing.

Yup home and auto insurance are epic wastes. Whenever you “need it” you’re likely better off just saving the money yourself. Don’t care what anyone
else says.
$5 for 5 pieces of chicken I think mix and match thighs/drums etc. prob about 3000 calories

Speaking of calories per dollar, the wife just brought home donuts because apparently Dunkin had a deal today with 6 of them for $3. Just what we needed...

This seems to go for a lot of people in this country. Just today i felt like I wanted mcnasties so I thought fuck it, and I saw what the person in front of me ordered. A quarter pounder with small fries, probably to mitigate pricing
