I also think the electric 3 series for sub $60K is dope, although I've never driven it. It's weird to me that it gets almost zero love... it is like the only EV that isn't a stupid CUV other than the Model 3/S.

I think it's just too new. It barely launched and I am sure wants 10-50k markups given the gAs SaViNGz

First of all, now that everyone is loving the Integra, I said that same thing earlier. It's likely actually cheaper than the Civic because no one wants it because it is more money than the Civic.
Sure it's the same car, but it looks unique/nice on the exterior, it's a hatch, it's got adaptive dampers and evidently rides amazing, and a tad nicer interior. I personally wouldn't pay the $7K premium but when there isn't a $7K premium, it seems worthwhile. I would think that buying an Integra at MSRP would depreciate less than a Civic at $7K over too. You have to assume the markup fuckery is instant depreciation the minute Eric's favorite era of car buying comes to a close.
Die your opportunistic bastards, die.

I’m calling tomorrow and report back.
But I admitted to be if the delta is msrp + markup vs msrp on the shitegra I know the way I’m going.
If you come home with a brand new Acura BAEZN is gonna schedule a vow renewal. I'm low key jealous of anyone that DDs an Acura from the last ten years with the ELS sound system. Those things BUMP. The seats in my experience are great too.

I noticed every Integra review (I watched many as a former 90's Honda fanboi) raved about the stereo being
MSRP for MSRP I'd still get the Cuckvic, but right now the Integra could be a dece buy. The other neat thing is that I see the new Civic all over the place already, I've yet to see a single 'teggy.

They're not making any Integras. I was listening to Jason Cammisas podcast (who really likes the Integra) say dealers were claiming "Sold out for this quarter!", and he asked how many cars that was and the answer was 6. Six cars spread over 3 months.

I didn't know he had a podcast, thanks for the unintentional recommendation

They can be VERY "if you don't drive in the canyons you aren't a good car enthusiast" elitist.
Also once again going Riches to rags over here... The woman and I will be a single car family until I figure out what to do next. Rollin in a 12 year old TSX FTW... with a 2000 Taco on speed dial.

But the Defender is still in play, yes?

I am leaning towards no.... Very wishy washy at the moment... the thought of it costing me 20k in the first year makes me want to yack.
Ran a few quotes on the Elantra just now. Shift coming in with the lowball $11,200, Carvana $15,856, and Carmax bringing the heat with $16,400. Tempting to off it and try the one car lyfe, but my gym is just far enough away that it’d be inconvenient for Michelle to be carless for that 2-2.5 hour window, especially since that’s usually when she finishes working for the day and likes to get the doggie out to a park or something.

Those upper quotes are complete insanity. Not worth sowing the seeds of divorce though.

I really should have snagged the $18,555 or whatever madness carmax offered late last year. Straight $5k profit in 5 months of ownershit.

Yea 3-6 months of being closer to retirement seems worth it. I’ll find other ways to set my cash on fire. Cars in q2’22 is just about the worst place to
Park that ever.
