Yea, at some point I could see adding a master suite off the tower on top of the upper roof. It would have its own concrete patio, epic views, could be made really modern with lots of windows and natural light. The house would look less wonky too.
Could also add an attached garage under the new master, leaving the existing one for toys.

Just got back from seeing my favorite comedian, Tom Segura, do a standup show. It was a present from
for our anniversary. We had row 4 seating. It was great.
Show was in the Majestic Theatre which is amazingly decorated inside.
Lots of laughs, and so awesome to see someone who I’ve grown to follow from his Netflix specials in person/live. He moved to Austin a few months ago so may go to whatever local show he does there if I need my fix again.
His humor is so funny.

I also tend to prefer funny humor, too.

He has a few specials on Netflix, look him up! He tends to be borderline satirical/dark/dry but it's funny as hell.wap wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 10:57 pmrazr390 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 10:37 pm Just got back from seeing my favorite comedian, Tom Segura, do a standup show. He is also hilarious. I've been meaning to check out his latest special; my wife doesn't like stand up so I don't get to watch often. Did you see a spanish or english show?

hahaha thats amazing. Tyrese is so awesome in those movies. Like the acting is terrible, but in a good way. I need to watch the most recent 2, 8 and 9 I think.Detroit wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 1:54 pmWhen we started the solarium project, our contractor asked if we'd be offended if we had a proud boy type dude work on the project. He said the guy did great work, but had a beard and shaved head and was tatted with some...proud boy type tats. Contractor said he wouldn't otherwise hire such a dude, but labor was tight and he had done good work for him. He said he wouldn't send the guy to a job where the home owners would be offended, but morbid curiosity combined with a desire to get the fucking job done, I said OK.
The first day the guy comes on a motorcycle. Contractor already had a tool trailer here for him to use, so the bike worked to get him here and he indeed did great work quickly. I thought "quite stereotypical", but struck up conversation with him a bit and he was actually quite cool. Didn't bring up any political or supremacy type stuff, he was super polite, and quite punctual. Overall a decent dude (probably helped that I was the right color).
The next week he shows up driving...and this is why I'm posting this now...
A bright pink Mitsubishi Eclipse CONVERTIBLE...just like this:
It had graphics, the wing, EVERYTHING.
I wasand commented to him "nice ride" when I saw him. With the same pride that I respond to people who call out my pink mask he says "thanks! I love driving this thing".
I ask about where it came from and if he did the work, etc and it turns out he bought it as a salvage vehicle and he rebuilt it for his wife who wanted "a barbie car". He said he got it for free and put "maybe a grand into it" and even painted it himself. The work was actually decent, but he was legit proud of the thing and acted like a bright pink 2 fast 2 furious Eclipse was a perfectly normal car for him to be driving.
The characters up here are incredible.

English. It’s part of his tour, you could probably see if he’s coming to TN. Tickets aren’t too bad.Big Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 7:15 amTom is fat.razr390 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 10:37 pm Just got back from seeing my favorite comedian, Tom Segura, do a standup show. I've checked for spalling, there's zero that I can find anywhere, and it should be relatively visible. But I'm always keeping an eye on what I can see, and intend to repair if I see anything odd ASAP.Big Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Fri Jan 28, 2022 7:21 amDetroit wrote: ↑Wed Jan 26, 2022 5:01 pm

Your neat littletower and garage might be susceptible to some wind but the rest would be fine as long as the windows hold. Earthquakes would be the real concern, but a minimal one due to it being largely one with the earth...as long as the earth don't slide down the hill. Which would be a problem in a regular house too.
Michigan doesn't really get major earthquakes. Not impossible, but extremely unlikely. We are on a "bluff" or a sand dune with vegetation on it. 100% sand around the house, which is good for drainage but a bit concerning regarding stability. The house is so overbuilt that it probably won't matter.
