The side of the tub is shaped to where it agitates the water and the clothes. It's basically a series of angles that force the water in certain directions.
Where are these mangos?

I don't understand anything anymore.
Front loaders don’t clean as well as top loaders but they don’t wear your clothes out as fast because no agitator
Back to top loaders sans agitator?
I am unaware of their existence. I will say this, if you front loader GET THE PEDASTALS, they make an epic difference in convenience. Plus storage underneath. The turn a front loader into a top loader from everyday ergonomics

Yes it's a cool car. But prepare the lube/sawdust.

The bottom of ours moves independently from the drum as well. I think they refer to it as an impeller in the biz.

3000+ square feet and you can't carve out 10 for a table?
In proximity to the laundry room, not really. The layout of the laundry is a disaster itself and then it opens into the most used rooms of the house. If it was in the basement or upstairs we definitely could.
The interior architecture of our house is wonderful for being together and kinda shit for the realities of living. 1995 at its finest.
Ours are in the middle of the damn kitchen. Not even a closet or anything.
That said we got some electrolux front loaders as we had a homie hookup on employee pricing and the wife wanted something that looks good, understandably as they are front and center in our casa. They work really well and are allegedly super water/energy efficient, as confirmed by our $100/month average for water/power combined.
5/7 would recommend. I always leave the washer open to dry out after use, there have been no mold issues. I'd do that with any front loader. I just fold clothes on my bed, which is apparently a poor person thing

Well just got caught up here.
Waxer shouldn’t have been sent to Сибирь for posting boomer memes. Fax shouldn’t have been bullied like he was. And shaming people for some actions / shutting it down, only to turn around and carry those actions out yourself later on is bullshit too. Deal with it. Don’t like it you can mute people. I have half the active members on the forum muted and have for years. With the change in moderation I might add to the list. The place was created out of frustration at iron fist moderating, and look where we are now.
Bendy thanks for paying for this dumpster fire for the last few years. Nobody asked you to, and we all appreciate that you did.
I’m gonna be a little less present here I think. My life is too negative as is and I don’t need to add to that. I don’t really even know why I come around here anymore.
Agreed on the Сибирь thing obviously.

I hope to see you stick around here. You have been a huge help to me in the cycling world and I've always enjoyed conversing with you. I also hope that one thing we can take away is we should all try to be a little more positive around here.

I pull my clothes from the dryer and toss them on the bed. Then fold and put away in the closet/dresser.

I don't really have an issue with the system, frankly.
Also, now that 75% of my laundry is athletic/cycling ware and stuff, I mostly just move it from the drier to a basket and leave it there until next use. The synthetics don't really wrinkle and about spending time folding all that shit when I wear it every week at least anyway. Yet another way WFH saves time, less laundry.

Folding/putting away clothes is a 4-5 business day endeavor.

Because I have fucking laundry machines on the mind...one feature the wife was really focused on was a "fresh vent" (or some such name) system that keeps damp laundry in the washer from getting mildewy smelling if you don't take it out right away. We regularly have to rewash clothes because we forget about them in the washing machine for various reasons. This happens with our current POS Samsung top loader.
Oddly, the only machines that offer this feature seem to be front loaders.
I'm a 1/2 bed, half kitchen island folder. Our new condo has the most laundry room I've ever had in my life. Front loaders, on pedestals, utility sink, epic cabinetry, and a big ass folding counter.

I fold on the bed, but I always fold immediately after the dryer is done. I don't like to let shit sit in a hamper getting all wrinkly.
I take out and immediately hang/fold anything nice/casual wear. I leave socks, undies, athletic/gym wear sitting in the basket and pull it out as needed.
I cook, my wifey does the laundry. We have two big front load machines and a utility sink and some cabinets. Not too fancy but it works really well.
I don't like front load wash machine as much as a top loader. Twice it got mildew and started to smell. I just dumped some bleach into it and onto the source which I think is the rubber seal for the door and it took care of business but we needed to make sure to do a few loads of whites before we started our usual laundry cycles after a bleach treatment, or our shit might come out tie-died.
Nicole bought cleaning pods that we pop into the machine to do a cleaning cycle with one a month. Problem solved it seems.
