And to be very clear, no one has been banned and there isn't a need to ban anyone at this point. However, this won't become a place where "COVID truther" bullshit or racism is allowed. If someone isn't on board for the fact that I'll be making those calls at my own discretion, this might not be the place for them.

Yep, we align fairly closely on a lot of stuff but we have our differences. Happy to call you a bro, and your guidance/advice in the past has been immensely helpful.[user not found] wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 2:29 pmActually you and I are great examples, we disagree on some things, yet we are bros and text and shit out of DFD.
Life would be hella boring if we were all the same.

what’d you guys do for french food? We have a few French restaurants around here, I’ve been and the food is tasty, but I can’t speak to any level of authenticity since I haven’t been to France and don’t really know much of their cuisine other than lots of bread/baguettes.troyguitar wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 1:31 pm[user not found] wrote:Oh dang Pex! Ours was yesterday, 15 years which is to me. Had some French food and wine, was the next best thing to actually going somewhere.

We just kept it simple, no cooking involved. Baguette, saucisson, cornichons, a few different cheeses, and a few wines.SAWCE wrote:what’d you guys do for french food? The made the most difference vs basic Aldi stuff. D'Artagnan sells a duck saucisson which is absolutely incredible. The traditional pork version is also really great, like the best salami you've ever had.

Yeah I meant together for 15, the official wedding was only a few years ago since it took so long to be able to afford it. Luckily it fell on the same date so we only have one anniversary. 5/7 would recommend doing that intentionally if possible, it's to have a single date.[user not found] wrote:To be clear, married ten years lady month, together 16 years. We wanted to do that, but the anniversary of our first meeting each other is in June and the year we were married she was studying for the bar that summer so we chose a day close to our first official date, in August.troyguitar wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 3:24 pmYeah I meant together for 15, the official wedding was only a few years ago since it took so long to be able to afford it. I always assumed the dating anniversary goes out the window once married, but I’m sure have different plans for thattroyguitar wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 3:24 pmYeah I meant together for 15, the official wedding was only a few years ago since it took so long to be able to afford it. is why it's a great lifehack to make them the same day. I didn't actually plan it that way but in hindsight it was smart.SAWCE wrote:I always assumed the dating anniversary goes out the window once married, but I’m sure have different plans for that ol:troyguitar wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 3:24 pm Yeah I meant together for 15, the official wedding was only a few years ago since it took so long to be able to afford it. Fuck. I just had the greatest music-related career-type idea I've ever had. I don't think I have the skills to execute it properly in enough time to make it work out but I'm going to give it a shot.
The main thing I'm lacking, besides singing skills, is a band name. Any ideas for an 80s rock themed Trump cover band? Mr. Bigly is my first idea but it's not perfect.

Derp, I was excited and left out half of my original thought: the band name is Mr. Bigly.
First power ballad is "It Is What It Is"
First rocking song is "Very Fine People"
Third single is "Nasty Woman"

Similar. My wife and I have been together for 15 years, married for 7 because I had rude friends who kept getting married and I made so little money that it took forever to save up for a ring. I completely blame those friends because going to weddings is expensive.troyguitar wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 3:24 pmYeah I meant together for 15, the official wedding was only a few years ago since it took so long to be able to afford it.
