So downgrading mini service to 2/7. Same shit I have to normally deal with...

I went in on 11/22 "we'll give you a call when the stripes come in".

No call as of yesterday, I called the main number... at 3pm Got some rando chick, she said no service advisers were available and she'd let them know I called. :yeahok:
No call by 10am , i called the service adviser directly and left a VM because naturally he doesn't pick up the damn phone.
Calls me back 2 hrs later... "How can I help you?" :ayfkm:
"oh yea the stripes are here", no appointments this week, I asked to get it done by tuesday, BTW now my car is out of warranty... so that's going to be interesting...
Also asked him to address the un-addressed and paid for alignment. :disgust:

We shall see where it goes. The only reason this is a 2/7 is because i am getting a loaner as it is going to take "3/4 hrs" to install the stripes. :wtf:

Well during the last service I figured i'd ask. They are not just stained they are "unfixable" I was going to get a replacement set and figured why not just ask the dealer since I am under warranty.

Also they didn't get my alignment right :disgust:

One issue for taller dudes is this... i can’t see traffic lights out of the mini. The windshield shape is such that I’d have to lean forward and down to see the upward mounted lights ...

I had this issue with my Gayata. If the top was up seeing lights required leaning forward and craning my neck under the windshield.

I've been paying $0.8/gal markup for 93 pretty much this whole year.

Also ordered cabin air filters from FCP euro, lets see if their "lifetime" replacement warranty works... they claim it applies to filters...

17MPG on 87 is cheaper than the 19 I saw on 93 in my C5. This lowers my interest in "fun" cars even further.

Yep. We usually see low 20's out of the wife's Sahara. I have found that MPGs drop drastically with speed. Much above 75 and you're not getting 20 anymore. Dat brick aero.

My BMW gets 30+ and isn't destroying the planet as much :doe:

Kind of a weird comparison, a :jeep: is polar opposite of a "fun car" that requires 93.

30 overall? Crazy. I get 23. Its dog shit. Do you just cruise on the highway most of the time out in the cow pastures. With LA stop and go and taking the kids around on short trips, the highway driving I do doesn't mitigate it much and I hover between 23 and at the very best, 25

I've been getting 24-25 in the :gorf: lately with a hefty dose of highway. Cold weather has dropped the mpgeez but with the narrower and smaller 17" rams I figured it should do better. I think I need to assess how much stop and go I'm doing m. Maybe it's more then usual now that I'm skipping pay toll highways since they are out of the way to get to. I'd say that's probably the biggest factor.

Sounds about right. Highway this thing slays.. I've done LA to Vegas and back and averaged 34-35mpg. Throw in some city and its donezo. The turbo 4's are pretty much garbage for MPG in the city. I could see the Russian's midget car getting better mileage cuz its so midge but I don't know shit about physics, so..

Nah really only on /highway, like you said. Driving around here I get 26-28 but I work like 10-7 typically and try to avoid traffic. LA is different because there can be traffic 24/7, here it’s really only shit from 7-9 and 3:30-7, I try to avoid driving much in that :bs:
