I'd go XX if I could end up lipstick instead of butch, but I'd be ok with rolling around in the barbie car with the intact anyway.

Dafurk, had no idea these could be had for mid 20s.D Griff wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2019 5:23 pm Huh... do want this, seems like a solid https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/it ... 778100404/
Had a look at C5 Z06s the other day but why bother when the C6 is just a few grand more?
Dang it, may fall for a Brubette next year.
Will do a few upgradez to the Mini over the winter first (in b4 ) but yes, next year I’ll pop the Dargon cherry.
Well, a C5Z with that high of mileage could be had sub $15K. My C5 is pretty nice and it could be had for $10-11K. So there's still a huge delta, but either one is an epic value, C6Z is far more car and a crazy bargain at that price. I wouldn't be afraid of a higher mileage Corvette unless you want a C&C cream puff. If I bought one, I'd o for something like the above with 100k miles and the valve train job done. You will scrape the front anyway, so no point in getting one that isn't pre scraped.Swedish Chef wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2019 8:16 pmDafurk, had no idea these could be had for mid 20s.D Griff wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2019 5:23 pm Huh... do want this, seems like a solid https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/it ... 778100404/

A banged up C6Z with the valves done would be a fantastic buy, IMO.D Griff wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 9:54 amWell, a C5Z with that high of mileage could be had sub $15K. I'm and won't consider a C6Z because the top doesn't come off.

This kept me out of a C6Z and in a GS. I only got the C7Z because they made the roof removable.Detroit wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 10:13 amA banged up C6Z with the valves done would be a fantastic buy, IMO.D Griff wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 9:54 am

I don't take the targa off much, but it is a nice perk for sure.
In some ways I actually prefer the C6GS to the Z, but it's more expensive in many cases, which gives me pause. I'm not about paying mid-high 30s for a C6 when I could go buy a brand new C7 for low 40s.

Oh wow, I thought I was alone.
I had the top off my C5 constantly...I went months long with it off (parked in the garage).
TBH, I think the perfect used vette is a C6GS LS3 is epic. Dry sump. Wide body look. Top comes off. Couldn't ask for anything more...they're just still a tad on the pricey side being a 2010+ only thing.

Yeah, and Mike Furman has them at 18% off + an additional $2,000 rebate.
Deals are out there.
Boardwalk, where I bought mine has them at 25% off: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c7 ... 5-off.html
