LA is all about the mirror wraps. :disgust:

We got a turd at work with a flat purple wrap on the model 3. It has got to be some sort of mental illness to feel the need to STAND OUT that much.
What's funny is... buy the Honda Civic of the Bay and then put so much money/energy into making it "unique". Why not just buy a unique vehicle? :wrong:

I mean I mod... but I also agree. Modding can be fun and if you have a set purpose in mind and understand it's :troywax: , why not?

It does seem silly to destroy the reliability of a :mk6: when the whole point of the car is jack-of-all-trades daily. FWD sucks for putting down power anyway, why not just buy an actual quick car at that point? Stage 1/2 would be where I'd draw the line for a FWD daily.

I was told “throttle modulation” when I pointed out that more than 300whp is :fullretard: to the fronts...

Crackrock.

E30 Tourings go for a lot less than that.
That's too high miles. If it had been gone through 100% mechanically, and the rest was in great shape, possibly.

Also "Car runs great and it is fitted with factory 2. 5 M20 Engine and mated to a rare switchable manual transmission"
It's the same Getrag 260 that's in mine. :notsure: what this "switchable" is.

You can switch it to first or 4th or 5th! It’s epic tech bro ! New cars only have the D and R gears, this car has 1-5+R so it is 3 times better

I don't hate it... seems a good candidate for NFG life... and more suitable for an oil :amir: than a "small Subaru".

Those chinese electronics :jimp:

Based on 30 minutes of quick searching, I think a 4th gen 4R or an older JGC is where I should look. Both are still sellable in bashed up condition but cheap enough to not really care about. If I do the JGC thing I'll probably be in touch with you on things to look out for.

I think I'm a bit less likely to commit seppuku in one of those vs a 10 year old Chevy Cruze.

$5K of city damage later, it'll still be $7K though? Seems like a reasonable choice.

The advantage here is depreciation will not exist on this thing. It's only damage. Figure $3k lit on fire by purchasing. $3k loss if it's got dents all over it. $6k to own it for a couple years. I mean that's less than any new car will be in just depreciation. It's overpriced but :iono:

The real trouble with this one is I'll for sure get fucked on a trade.

My dad's friend only replaced consumables and would likely still have it if it wasn't totalled by a deer at 200k miles

Every Xterra out there looks like it just came back from a tour of duty in Afghanistan.

This one looks alright. Doubt it's a better buy than a 4th gen 4R.
