This was my 2nd time buying all the parts :doe: , much :rage: was had when the first order of :poop: was somehow misplaced and likely thrown away from kids 1st birthday activities. :rage:

You added the USB ports? I added the Burns Moto one to the Vrod and it was a lifesaver. On one motorcycle trip a friend forgot to charge his gopro and didn't realize I had a way to charge it. Worked awesome and he was stoked. Really helped a lot when I was going back and forth between Lafayette and Denham Springs

good info there. I'll have to look at my rims to see if they have the safety bead. For now though i'll stick to tubes.
Most of them do.

I've got a roll of the 3M :unicorn: tape. Once the season winds down, I'll tackle it.
Bringing this back up. Since I need tires, and tubes are a PITA ass based on the experiences with the track bike and freaking expensive.... for a mostly road motorcycle I am going to attempt the tubeless conversion. Also easier to repair on side of road and will require less tools to carry.

ordered Pirelli Scorpion Trail ll's for the kawasaki. :waxer:

also ordered a 43 tooth sprocket to drop the gearing a bit. Its -3 on the rear over stock.

Got the unicorn tape ordered and the rt angle valve stems. Hopefully since my bike is pretty new this wont be a huge struggle.

I'm declaring success, held air at pressure overnight with only a slight drop, and that was likely due to a 30ish degree temperature dip.

:fax: overthought shit. Measured valve stems. came up with .33x. This is an 8.3mm valve stem. Ordered these anyway. they were :wrong:

To make things more :eeyore: all the 8.3mm stems are long lead, no amazon prime, etc. Apparently its only old euro shit and even older jap shit that uses these. And idiots that do tubeless conversions.

:fuckyeah:
NAPA to the rescue had these in local stock for next day availability. Cheaper too, but no right angle,
https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NTH90426

Couple before and afters of taping the rims. This tape is nasty hope i never need to take it off.

Mounting the rear tire was a bitch, but I'm getting better at it. Used my fancy ( ) harbor freight balancing stand to balance the wheels. Also got a new rear sprocket in the back to drop three teeth. Hopefully that will add some usefulness to first gear and drop my cruising rpms a tad. The internet says that any more than +1 up front OR -3 out back :triggered: a CEL and makes the gear indicator stop working. Adjusted & lubed the chain, got everything buttoned back up.

All back together! Weather friday looks iffy but if its not raining when I look up I am going.
