Collectively, this forum is really the worst sometimes.

Try not being an asshole for once...
The thing is that nothing should be taken seriously. We get it. Sno works a lot of hours and has her own business and blah blah blah. This isn’t a place where she needs to reiterate that in every post she makes that is “serious”. She got an obvious button pushed by Calvin and as tradition DFD will use that against her. No one is taking away the fact that she works hard, but for fucks sake man just roll with the punches or you won’t last.

Well, events in these pages have brought me to a decision. My vote is signed, sealed, and delivered, I don't think it'll be changing. Any guesses on who I went with? It looks like I was one of the last to cast my ballot.

Also, I have a job. I make some money and I work some hours. Sometimes I do things in the mornings, sometimes at night. Sometimes I do things on the weekends, other times I don't do shit. I'm waiting for my medal.

CorvetteWaxer wrote: Sun Jun 24, 2018 4:23 am For sure. The last 3 years have been great and I honestly never could have predicted the payoff for all the effort... Not in my wildest dreams.

To your other question, my advice is that if you think the job is worth the effort, always give 100%. If not, you probably are not in the right place.
Do you have some awesome retirement plans?

My wife and I want to be RV people but with a Sprinter in Europe
Your plan sounds good, but a bit too tax heavy in my opinion. I have zero interest in paying crazy VAT for anything I may need.

I am looking to grab many acres somewhere tax friendly (Nevada, etc.) and get a smallish RV like you mentioned to roam when we want to. Living in California all this time and paying as much as we do for things has soured me on the idea of taxes.

Property taxes are insane to pay bonds for stupid things as well as programs for illegals, income taxes are high as well as sales taxes. This year my vehicle registrations will be going up due to a new fee... The Z06 will be over $1000 for tags, when I have to renew the ZR2 and the JL they will be over $700 each. The Harley and Ducati will likely be $350 each. That's over $3k for registrations when other states would be charging me less than $400 and our roads are in trouble here.

You travel too much and the evidence is on Instagram to prove that you cannot work.

Nice try tho.

Ask for $70k so you have room to negotiate.

I envy you for doing something you love and the Kenny Rogers tickets more than for the money. The hours wouldn't be so bad in that case, especially without kids.

We are in the top 5 to 10% of household earners. I'm ok with that.

Listen man, life is easy. Everything in moderation and just give your 100% in anything you do. The rest comes.
