Same. Time to bust out the air compressor and put a few PSI in my summerz. :triggered:
It was 32F when I got home last night on my Rival-S tarz. Dry :doe: so not a big deal.

Nitrogen only... because air which is 80% nitrogen is just too poverty.
:fullretard:
My all seasons are currently filled with nitrogen.

Couple more pics not in direct sun. Still love the lapiz.

Strangely enough the car is only a tiny bit softer than it was on the 19's. These michelins seem pretty stiff which I'm fine with. Still need to put more miles on them to wear off that first layer.

Only took VW 3+ years but they finally made R monster mats. INSTALLED.

Also took the rack off and noticed some hazing where the rubber contacted the roof. Also getting a small leak because the rubber isn't sealing. Going to the hardware store to get that tubing I used on my GTI. Image

I never noticed so now I have to check. It better not be scuffs.

I was so close to ordering regular golf ones but decided to check ECS one more time for the hell of it.

I also thought about weather techs but they're quite a bit more and I don't think I need them going all the way up the side.

They're light scuffs. I don't think they're from me.

:( :disappoint:

Keep the receipt for the mats. If they hole through in a year VW will replace them. My GTI ones holed through in 8 months and were replaced. The replacement mats were good doe.

Wheres the install vid and vlog impressions? :triggered: :plac:

I will but the monster mats I had for the GTI never holed and I had them for 6 and a half years. The mat was just a bit worn by the clutch.

The corners are way too much effort to get clean. I'd much rather avoid get dirt in there from the giddy-up

Gorf thread... :fuckyeah:

Found a cheap Ross-Tech cable, pickup is set for tomorrow for the price of an OBD11 (about $80 American). It means i need to long code all changes. I have a couple of settings i want to address but mainly want it around for maintenance items like resetting the parking brake positions after pad/rotor changes.

The dude selling it will load software for me and we will test the unit together on my car to make sure it works.

I'll get around to buying one eventually but I don't know what other tweaks I'd do aside from the windows and mirror dip. I check those master vcds threads and I have no idea what they're talking about.

It's too cheap for me to pass up, we have three VAG products between my family and my brother's S5 so i think from a maintenance perspective alone this needs to happen. Diagnostics of one event will pay for the tool and so will adjusting the parking brake servo after a pad change.

Simply from a S&Gs perspective I'd like to make the following changes:

-window up/down with fob
-brighten the LEDs in the headlights when the main "lights on" switch is set (the leds stay on but dim
-use all four tail lights for braking, currently using only the outers

I haven't explored many of the options yet, so there might be more.

Dare i say, i might even consider buying used OEM LEDs....

:butwhy: :butwhy: :butwhy:

Not sure yet, the MK7 gen stuff is hitting the used market for cheap now that the fancy new MK7.5 tailzzzzz are out. I kind of liked the original LEDs and would even run the four extra harness wires to get the lighting to perfectly match Euro Spec setup.

If they show up ultra cheap on the used market i might go ahead with it, but i have a million other things to do so i doubt it will be any time soon.
