You can get more for your money with the points for travel game but it is a LOT of work to figure out what's best, really not worth it, IMO. I just do cash back, rotating 5% categories on Discover and Chase, everything else goes on 2% cash back Citi card other than restaurants, which I have a card that gives 3% cash back on. It is a pretty simple system that generates some decent money.

Every time I look into new cards, the points things are just so ambiguous and confusing that I end up staying with the higher % cash back cards I already have because there's zero thinking involved. Wife got a Delta card when she was travelling a lot, and it never really seemed to make sense with the cost of the annual fee.D Griff wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 4:57 pmYou can get more for your money with the points for travel game but it is a LOT of work to figure out what's best, really not worth it, IMO. It can make sense if you put zero value on your time... I sit on a computer all damn day as-is, the last thing I want to do is a bunch of credit card trackingDetroit wrote: ↑Tue May 11, 2021 9:08 amEvery time I look into new cards, the points things are just so ambiguous and confusing that I end up staying with the higher % cash back cards I already have because there's zero thinking involved.
