Exactly. He keeps his vehicles even longer than me.
The 3.6 is the right call for him.
As long as he didn't go crazy with options, it should last him a good long while. That engine and transmission has been in everything for ages.
Knowing him, I'm sure he didn't go with options. This dude is more than me. He doesn't even own a smart phone. so wouldn't care about a fancy HU or shit like that.
Where are these mangos?

None of this is all that surprising considering that your "buddy" is none other than John the Apostle.

JT doing 95 over expansion joints in a crosswind is less than confidence inspiring.
95 is basically in a JT. You got balls, dude. Big balls.

My guess would be that Chris took some time off because he has read the dialogue on this page 1,345 times and decided to spend some of his free time doing something besides beating a horse to death.

More JLU nonsense…
FB group score of some Mopar Premium rock sliders.
Sweet! I love those step/sliders. I wanted to replace the plastic ones on our Sahara with those at some point.

Yeah, they’re awesome steps/sliders. Beefy AF too.
They’ll be a great help to the munchkin who’s climbing in the Jeep’s on her own now too.
I had many people complain about getting into my JTR. This was going to be my solution if I kept it.

I think they come stock on the Mojave’s? That’s really the trim I should have, but wasn’t in the budget. I’ll keep my eyes out for a set for the JT too.

Mojave’s here sit in show rooms with 58-65k stickers and no money on the hood. Dealers treat them above rubicon’s. And honestly that’s not ok in my book. No gladiator should cross over 50k imo unless there is 10k on the hood.

The Mojave is a money grab for your region. I don't understand how/why people pay so much for those things.

They don't. There was a plan to do that and it was announced as such, but they were too expensive and ate too much profit and were pulled for production.

Got up to my parents’ place Thursday night. Opened the Jeep up Friday morning and took all my nieces and nephews out in the desert. They LOVED it!
I promised the oldest one a private ride since he doesn’t need a booster seat and could go on the roads with me. Took him up the hills on the outskirts of Lancaster and drove up to the California Aqueduct at dusk so we could watch all the lights turn on in the valley as the sun set. Doing the speed limit on the roads was a little too loud for him, but he still enjoyed bragging to the younger cousins about it.
