For what we need it to do, it feels like a better car to me. It’s way more comfortable, much roomier, , carries more, rides better, definitely not slow, looks great, and has a ton of great features. This is her daily driver and she’s not at all . I’m gonna be much happier doing road trips in this one than the Mini.

I am offing a Corvette for a 'lesser' vehicle performance wise at some point because my lifestyle has kind of changed and I want a better vehicle for road trips. Sure, there are things we will all miss about previous vehicles, but if it better fits your life, eff it.

I think it’s more like redline for her is the max RPM it’ll downshift to when you floor it. It doesn’t downshift any higher than 5000 and all the power is at 6000-7000. She’s used to it revving up and then going, not revving up, waiting for more revs and then going.

Hit 20,000 miles with on the way home from seeing my parents and was rewarded by CEL and misfires above 5000 RPM

95% sure it’s bad gas that does it… it’s happened twice before too. Always the same rear O2 sensor code and misfires that come up after a fill up… the they go away after I fill up again. I guess the MotoEast tune is kinda sensitive to bad fuel? Not sure.

That’s really odd … I don’t think I ever had a “bad gas” misfire on any one of my numerous vehicles over 500k miles

I’m either tbh. It’s just conspicuous when it happens twice on an interstate onramp right after refueling and vanishes after the next stop… other time was in town but still after a refuel.

Can happen in somewhat rural areas where the premium fuel sits forever because redneck don't need it.
