It's ridiculous for now, but when everyone is laid off...D Griff wrote:FWIW I think them giving me and my wife money is absolutely ridiculous. But hey, if you can't beat 'em...
Mine did too... if I hadn't gotten married would've gotten nada I think, but fortunately I have the wife to bring me down
Truth... but we can't buy anything.

We're rich enough to get zero. But now that my wife is now laid off indefinitely, we'd be eligible for the full amount now. Guess recent actions don't matter.
Whatever. We don't need the money, we would have just spent every dime of it on the local economy keeping our favorite spots afloat.

Probably too rich to qualify for much unemployment. No idea how it works, will need to find out.Apex wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 12:54 pmGet that unemployment with the extra $600 a week.Detroit wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 12:49 pm

yea, there are many that won't get help that could use it. Like if my wife worked closer to full time we'd be in the gray earnings wise, but she's already 'furloughed' and won't be seeing paychecks for a minute. If we were stupid and overleveraged...it would be bad news.D Griff wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 1:26 pmThis is what I don't get about this... but whatever.Detroit wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 12:49 pm
