Very expensive for sure. I'd consider one if they started to do leather stuff.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 10:04 amYou don't notice any inconsistencies? I felt like the grab points were different all the time before putting the bleeder block in. Rolling 5mph starts from first gear are still annoying but the clutch actually behaves the same on every change now.[user not found] wrote:I don't think I'm going to do the Diselgeek. The shifter is way more precise than the stock was in the GTI. Maybe it will develop some slop over time but right now it's pretty damn good.
Second, not sure on the bleeder block. I don't see an issue with the clutch :dunno:
I am getting a shift knob doe
Strangely enough I never noticed it in my GTI.
I think a custom Raceseng sphereology in blue and silver would be sweet. knob doe.

If I were real arts and craftsy I'd buy some leather and try to wrap one of their delrin covers. That might make it too thick doe.Johnny_P wrote:Very expensive for sure. I'd consider one if they started to do leather stuff.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 10:04 am

Kind of surprised no one has tried it yet.

Dat (spawn of) DFD hookup.
I havent really noticed that. I just installed a pedal stop like week one.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 11:20 amRight. The bleeder block eliminates those inconsistencies. In day to day driving that was incredibly annoying.[user not found] wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 10:11 am Only at low speeds and not when driving aggressively :dunno:
It drove me nuts. Clutch pedal is definitely more consistent. Who knows. I probably have a mutant
I thought about installing it but really cant be bothered to bleed the system. I'll really try to see the release point differences.
The only thing I can think of off the top of my head would be windows up and down from the fob. What else is there?
And was your armrest locked?

I'll have to find the master threads again.[user not found] wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2019 6:03 pmMy armrest was open.
Windows open, a bunch of controls around the active assist and shit, memory on heated seats, all sorts of going home light options, soundkarator levels, valve control, throttle response (I don't know what it does and haven't done it but it's there)
And GayPR released some tunas for 2019's so I imagine others aren't far behind.
+80hp is pretty significant.max225 wrote:Does it even do anything on the R? Other than make the clutch slip? You bought the "tuned car"
Just a stage 1 tune turns them into monsters. DSG cars especially.

I did not. You got knob already?

Wow. Is that the translucent finish? Which knob is it? I was thinking maybe going with the contour.

I got the Raceng Slammer on a group buy on the dead forum years ago in stainless..... heavy as hell but is really affected by temp.......[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2019 3:47 pmSlammer Translucent. The bloo matches the R ambient bloo super well. It's HEAVY.
Curious to how it would match lapiz. Slammer doesn't look too big inside the car? Contour sorta matches the shape of oem knob.

wait really!? how is your armrest useable?? My shit is locked due to US import rules. How did that change?[user not found] wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2019 6:03 pmMy armrest was open.

I've heard things stating otherwise. We have the GTI clutch. Once you go past 350 ftlbs, you have passed the limit of lcutch.[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2019 3:34 pmStage 1 is about a 60 hp and 50 tq jump. Just like the GTI clutch issues pop up at stage 2, rarely stage one
