Chevrolet fell further than GM's other brands in 2019, with a 4 percent decline to 1,958,925 units. The new Silverado pickups were down, and the discontinuation of the Cruze, Impala, and Volt nameplates led to a significant drop in volume. GM's overall sales dropped 2 percent, as slight increases from Cadillac and GMC were not enough to counter Chevy's declines.

Yep it's a far superior product for the same fucking price. It's a no brainier if buyers can get over their brand bias

We sell double the amount of new Mazdas to new VWs.

I will say, though - that if you put the same team in the VW store, they'd sell more cars over there too.

Our two stores are run very differently, unfortunately.

Preferably a French hot hatch like a Clio Williams or 205 GTI, but wouldn’t hate a Geländewagen.

Drive and enjoy for a while, while still being able to recoup most of the expenses i.e. shipping when it’s time to sell.

Yea I really enjoyed the Megane ... but at 25 y/o we may have better choices here for less headachy vehicles.

I saw the numbers on the 86 and Supra over the weekend and thought how funny it is that everyone on the Corvette Forum always claims the Corvette will be cancelled when it only sells ~9k cars after 5 or 6 model years of a generation.

If that was the case the 86 and Supra should be well over $100k and $250k respectfully to remain profitable.

Gm now claims that they "lose money" on every Corvette under 80k (for the C8). I wonder when that car will actually hit... I built mine out and it came out to be around 68k, which is apparently Gayman GT4 territory ...

The Cayman GTS 4.0 seems like it might be a deal. Coming in cheaper than the $100k GT4 with only a detuned version of the motor.. With an APR or Cobb tune you would recover the difference in perf and keep the cost difference.
