Market value is closer to $19-20k, but I’m open to suggestions. I need a back seat big enough for two car seats, :manuel:, rear or awd, and at least a high 12 second quarter mile. There’s the Evo, STi, and basically shit else in the $20k range.
Can't you get a 550i con :manuel: or at least a 535i?

Cliffs:
Turn in Concepts bottom end
DOM 1.5 XTR-R turbo
ALL the supporting mods, but tuned on 93. Made 370whp on TiC's heartbreaker of a dyno (~420whp on a dynojet) and would probably do at least 50 more on E85. Would keep the GTI or maybe eventually the RDX as a daily, and this would be only the weekend whip. Plenty of rear seat space for a kiddo or two, and would be stupid fun.

I always loved the wide body last gens. Always wanted a red one but Subaru's silver is, honestly, one of the best silvers on the entire market since it has a blue tint to it.

I think you owe it to yourself to just try an Evo 10. But this would be one hell of a fun car.

Be sure to go over it carefully, and either drive it or get a ride-along to see if you like it. Equal length headers, blow off valve, different turbo, etc it will drive totally differently. It also has a few questionable things, red colored reverse lights?, painted passenger rear rocker panel (accident?), are immediately standing out. Stereo upgrade is awesome the stock ones in this gen were truly terrible. And for all those mods it looks pretty reserved and not super bro'd out.

3.0 supercharged S4 with a tune and pulley is fast as fuck.

And that's just a flash.

V10 M5, but that's a hell of a dice roll. But as a second car? Could be interesting. You could say you owned a big dick V10 engine that wasn't in an F350.

V8 M3s can run in the 12s and if you're willing to travel I bet you could get one in the mid to high 20s. As a second car..... yeah man that would be fucking rad as hell.

I'd be concerned about big repair bills for lame stuff on German cars. Fucking ROD BEARINGS are a WEAR ITEM on the V8 M3! That's price AF and just to keep the damned thing going. Would love a V8 M3 otherwise.

S4 is interesting :doe: That would be pretty :neat:

BUT if I was in this market (fast 4-door), a gen 2 CTS-V is the only way I'd go. They're high $20k range now for sedans, blown 6.2 V8 that can take abuse ALL DAY. A pulley and tune is completely safe and you're well into the 600whp range. 12 second car on a bad day.

:lolol:

B8/B8.5 S4s can indeed fast AF, but they're not particularly fun. They're 4,000 pounds and feel every bit of it, plus a lot of that weight is ahead of the front axle. Would be a fantastic daily, but not worthy of second vehicle status, IMO.

I've looked at E90 M3s, but I'm super particular about option combos, plus they're quite a bit more expensive. Slicktop, :manuel:, no iDrive, speed cloth seats or :gtfo:. Those pretty much don't exist.

I'd love to find an Evo 8/9 and a 10 to drive, but they're all ragged out and/or $5k+ more than that Subie. Still looking, though.

I don't believe this BS, it will have other downsides, also that peak # is on 100 octane fk that. A higher mile F80 can be had for high high 30s and or low low 30s and it puts down 410-420 wheel stock and is around 400lbs lighter.

I want to like the last gen S4s but they are too expensive for what they are... somehow that gen defies the normal race to the 4 figures for the 2 gen old audi vehicles.

That is a nice looking Subaru but I actually think D-Plac is on to something. CTS-V is a nuts vehicle for the money. I'd just ditch the GTI and go one car... owning two "hot hatch" thingies is kind of pointless IMO.

I'd personally sell the GTI and consider:
CTS-V
F30 335/340/M3
Nicest Evo/STi you can find
Maybe SS?

I also really l ove the E90 M3 but :notsure: on that as a dad car due to maintenance.

SS has the biggest interior and trunk, came with all the bells and whistles, and can even park itself while you start to unbuckle the kids and smack them around so they don't misbehave once you get out of the car.

This is a great car to keep as a future classic and only drive 1-2k miles a year at most. This way you can enjoy it.

This was my favorite sporty car of all time, it was my dream car after I graduated college but I couldn't get myself to buy one new as it was my entire first year salary. So I ended up going C5 instead... in retrospect it was a very smart choice.

I was since fortunate enough to get one, and while the interior/exterior design+ ergos etc were great. These cars are piles with miles. They are great 0-50k miles but 50-100k you're going to get some major shit issues and 100k Miles and up they essentially fall apart.

once again great car... but not one I'd drive much but the quality is shit. And I have to mention this part... they sound fucking terrible thanks to US emissions. Which can be fixed with smog illegal euro cats+cross over pipes.
