At least at this job, we don't have to make cold calls really, only existing customers. Also, the pay is really good here (at least for me, not so much for some others dependent on territory). But I'd really prefer to be out in the field.
Cold calling is the worst, I always hated doing that in previous gigs.

It's one of the main things that burned me out in my sales job after 24 years. That and getting that alfaprick new boss. :disgust:

Yea, that guy was really a piece of work.
He was a talented writer, I would welcome him back. His internal angst wasn't any worse than many of our distinguished panel.
Totally agree.

Agreed 100% I think all of us have asked him to join at one point or another. He just doesn't.
What was his Screen name?

I love this. But it's pretty much a C5 that's more expensive and worse in every way other than looks/cool factor.

:like: this thing must be a riot to drive.

But all that work, and it still has the stock steering wheel? :notsure:

Yea, I noticed that.

I'm sure it is a ton of fun to drive...but I'd be really curious to compare to my C5. I bet they're pretty close.

This 944 has mechanical grip for days with 275/315 R-comps on it. I'm sure Camdalf is faster in a straight line, but on a road-course the 944 probably has the edge. Would be interesting to compare.

I could bolt on the same width r-comps (could actually go wider in the front if I wanted) without a single modification. The mechanical grip on a C5 can be insane.

It's just interesting how similar an :ellis: swapped 944 is to a C5. Same engine, rear mounted transaxle, limited slip diff, C5 has double wishboners to the 944's McStrut/torsion bars is the biggest suspension difference.

C5 is more built to take abuse tho...even in the BAT listing, the comments bring up the fragility of the 951 transaxle with the torque of :ellis:

Would love to compare the two back to back :doe:

Speaking of Camdalf, my posting has worked. I've only had two e-mails on it, both from people asking what the ET in the quarter mile is. :lolol:

Wife was :sass: about it last night...claiming I'm not trying to sell it. Showed her the listing and it shut her up.

I forget that the C5 can take all the tire you can stuff under those fenders. It is really hard to beat a C5 for performance per dollar.

That 944 gets the jimmies rustled more than a C5 does doe, but that is purely a personal preference thing.
Either would be hilarious and bring out all the :lolol: while driving I bet.

I want a stock Elise SC if I win the lottery. I should just buy one sometime and "make it work" the same way that people do with having kids. Too bad I'd be single if I did that. :foreveralone:

Yep. Maybe $1500 a month or so for 6 years, then less after that. People spend more than that on daycare alone. Can't afford not to buy one.

Just give it a stupid name like people do to their kids and it'll all be acceptable.
