Don't remember if I posted this yesterday or not.. don't think I did. The new girl that I'm training at work smells weird, and it's unfortunately strong enough for me to smell while we're each at our desks. Not sure if it's weird BO or what. Sucks.

She also has this like burlap sack of rice that she heats in the microwave for a few minutes every couple of hours and rests on her lap/stomach because apparently it helps settle her stomach? The rice also smells right after it's microwaved, so I get to deal with that too.

That’s almost as strange as someone cooking rice in their cubicle.

I slept in the passenger seat of the for 30 minutes or so for my lunch break. It was lightly raining and sounded nice while I was in there. I do wish the seats reclined a bit further though. I could get real comfy in the :gti:

Off day from the gym, so I'll swing by my old place and pack up a few more boxes. Pretty much empty at this point, but need to bring my record console and all my records, record player, and receiver over plus my old bed for the spare room.

A solid 4/7 for me. Gaga was really good. She can act and she can really sing. Cooper was ok. Dave Chapelle and Andrew Dice Clay (as her dad) were really good in their small rolls. The whole thing was a bit maudlin for me and some of it just didn't ring true, or plausible. I don't think it should win best picture or anything but it was certainly worth the $5 I paid to see it.

There was actually a couple sitting next to me who walked out in the middle of it.

I love the Diceman. I had no idea he was in it.

They said he was better than Sinatra.

After some resume polishing, gracias , threw out an app to a jerb in Nashville. Glassdoor had a ton of awesome reviews on the place too.
They're looking for 4-6 years experience, I have over 3 and am awesome, so close enough.

Yep, and I agree with your score. It was just missing something from being 5/7 and it wasn't Gaga... And to be clear, I am not a fan, but she was pretty damned good in it.

Completely agree. I'm not a fan of hers but this movie almost makes me into one because she was pretty fantastic. She should drop the stupid make up and costumes and just be herself when she sings and performs because she's pretty great and talented and good looking as her real self.

To your other point, I'm trying to put my finger on what kept the movie from being 5/7. And I keep coming back to Cooper but I can't decide if it's him, his character, or his directing, or some weak plot points.
