Bought the game, and it took forever to "install". Such :bs:

I think it's fully installed so I can finally play it tonight. I hope.

Played a bit more last night. Didn't follow the story mode, just wandered around. Accidentally killed a dude at the train station, and got a bounty on my head. :notbad: that you can just go pay it off, but it was pricey...$20 wiped out most of my cash.

Then I rode my horse into the lake to give it a bath (it was bitching about being dirty and I don't have a brush) and found some dude camping who shot at me. I killed him and looted his body for a huge $10 score, so it made up for the accidental bounty. Fortunately there were no witnesses. Also stole a treasure map from a dude that wanted me to pay $10 for it. $10 is a lot bro, sorry...imma take it.

The vastness of the game still has me :mindblown: So far, it's been enjoyable. I like being able to pick it up for 30 min or so and just ride around and check stuff out.

You're still super early. You get a brush a few missions in.

Also money becomes less of an issue later on. Don't worry about spending money.

Nice. Good to know.

I don't want to just blast through the story mode. I kind of did that on GTAV and at the end found myself a bit let down with nothing to do really. Perhaps I'll play a bit more so I don't have to keep riding my horse into the lake. Fucker gets dirty fast.

Since I have very little time to play video games, I need something that I can just putz around in for 30 minutes or so. SO FAR, this works well for that.

Yeah I haven't really played it since I beat it. I took my time going through the story but don't know how long it actually took. I could go back and do the legendary animals and fetch quests but the game kinda changes after you finish it.

Yep, that's what I'm afraid of. I'm going to take my time with it.

That treasure map ends up leading you to way more than $10 too.

If you wear the bandana while committing crimes it makes you less identifiable.

Looting everyone and selling stuff combined with a few later missions and you get a ton of cash. I didn't even know what to do with it all. The epilogue you get even more which is crazy.
