There's a governor?

:mindblown:
Yep, there is. While I haven't found it myself, the reasoning that I've read about it being this are two fold:

1) It's a truck, wtf are you going that fast?
2) It's there more for the factory tires than anything else, as they've got a very low speed rating and it's a "nanny", so to speak.

Yep. Not to mention high speed stability, etc. But I've heard that in a ZR2, due to wind resistance the mechanical max is pretty close to the governor. I've never gone above 90 in mine, and while it feels stable that high, it's REALLY working to keep that speed up. Wind resistance is a bitch.

Got to punch it to keep the carbon build-up at bay.

:truk: won't be back until late next week it sounds like. Tech didn't order up new seat covers like he should have, and was only concerned about getting a new leaf pack for the gangsta lean. :notsure:
SA told him to go order the covers, 4-6 days for those to come in. :disappoint:

I'm more into the slow exploration aspect of it, not really into sending it off jumps and into mud.

That's how you break shit.
It does seem like those are the 2 popular options. I just want to go WOT without getting tickets on some smooth-ish winding trails, no interest in mud or jumps or rocks or being some kind of "explorer" - Oregon Trail was better as a pc game.

I often drive quite fast on flat dirt trails because my truck is so good at it. 50mph feels like :plaid: on dirt, and kicking the back end out is awesome and easy in 2WD with the rear end locked. No need to jump or blast through mud.

Mud is fun to me, but a huge bitch to clean.
