OTD is the key because airports and cities tack on usage fees and taxes out the ass on rental cars, basically doubling the daily rate of the car itself.
$170 for 2 days on the RAV4 I rented in Seattle that was “$40/day” rate.

My company pays all my flights, hotels, and rental cars. I get the reward points but personally I’d rather pay my own way and get reimbursed so I can get the 2% cash back using my credit card but they don’t want to go that route.

Finally OEMs bringing out some Tesla competitors. That is a great looking Audi, 200 mile range is
but I wish it was slightly higher, the 250 mile "euro" range is fake news as the EPA always haircuts it by 20-25%

Yes the OEM's are on the way. Thats a nice looking Audi overall. Implies support post sale etc etc.

Yea they used it on that half assed hybrid/thing for 45k.
75k for the nice audi SUV seems competitive with the tesla products, but it doesn't come with Falcon Wing doors or a bio defense mode.

Right, so it's weird that they're just recycling that name.
I'd buy an Audi before a Tesla, personally.

I think I would also, if they made competitive enough products. This is a really great shot across the tesla bow.

That "half-assed hybrid" was a good car, but it should have been a VW GTE. Near
performance with epic mpg was and still is a good idea. Electric vehicles continue to be a poor solution for most people. Only city dwellers who never leave the city can really use them, but those same people are unlikely to have access to chargers at home.

Maybe it was a good car, but the pricepoint was obscene. 40-50k.

A3 with anything beyond the base
motor starts at $35k, the hybrid hatch started at $39k... "luxury" cars are simply
if bought new.
An A3 2.0T with nothing but blue paint and sport seats is $37400 MSRP.

The 1.8T is comparable to the 1.4T hybrid in terms of performance, the 2.slow also comes with quatbro. I know where I’d spend my doll hairs
