Surf, to answer your question,
Yes, the proper Castilian Spanish does lisp their S's as you demonstrated but Since Barcelona is in the Catalonian region of Spain there are a lot of Catalan speakers there as well who speak their own language.Also, I thought people in Barthelona speak Spanish with a lisp?

I think that I need to eat more salad, 39 yrs old and I'm still pounding junk food and read meats whenever I want. This year and onwards is gonna be better

Upon quick review it looks like a traditional Latin derived language that survives in a few clustered areas of Europe. Latin is an
